All of their scene are freaking phenomenal, the chemistry is beyond the charts. Their intense gaze, the way they breathe each other and look at each other, the way they would touch each other so softly yet making it look like they're touching fire.... is just maddening. The scene where he asked why does she dislike him is my ultimate favorite. The way he spoke those words to her with such a deep captivating voice and breathed in her ears was just out of this world, I literally started screaming and couldn't even breathe for a second... I had to stop watching, go out and breathe some fresh air and collect myself. This season is far better than season 1, it's more enjoyable and dynamic because of these two. I'm gonna re-watch it till I remember every detail of their story.

I agree. I also want to add that the family's dynamic this season was a lot better than in s1. All the Edmund's related scenes made me cry, there was a lot of bickering btw the siblings that I LOVED, and the scene where they were all dancing in 2x07 has to be my absolute favorite scene of the show. So yeah, between this and the romance being far superior than in s1 IMHO, s2 was truly amazing and I'm going to watch it multiple times.

Especially the main characters, like I need a whole month so I can finally get over their chemistry and intimacy. Also the dance scene is my third favorite scene (the one where they dance to "dancing on my own", it was breathtaking.

This season is definitely and ultimately my favourite Bridgerton series. This season’s love story is just so lovely, and not a lot of sex scenes which I appreciated because from the last season, I dislike it much. But yess, Jonathan and Simone Ashley did their parts as Kate and Anthony amazingly! 😍🥰 this series is on a loop-watch for me yesterday the whole day. when people say they have "no chemistry, no fire" i honestly think they just mean that they miss the softcore porn that season 1 of bridgerton served lol. i'm glad they didn't do that this season. it was way more compelling, cause a big part of Anthony's character shows that he's pretty promiscuous. So it would make no sense for him to have a storyline full of sex, when really what he needed for growth of his character was something full of emotion. Their chemistry is actually astounding, cause you can see how their yearn for each other with words and eyes alone. That's actual chemistry, not something forced out by sexual intimacy.

Me too Lilly, I cursed every time I put my chores aside to watch this beautiful show, but in the end I'm glad I did. My cleaning got done late and night and I'm tired this morning. All worth it.

Both characters are so alike each other, they both had to grow up sooner then they should have, they have this huge responsabilities to carry, they both put their duties ahead of their feelings and yet, they still can't get over each other... It was amazing to watch and also so inspiring...kate has such a challenging personality, she is not just a "pretty face" she has so much more to offer and honestly only a strong and secure person like anthony would handle that kind of woman. It just all made sense..and let's not even talk about the sexual tension and heavy breathing and constant bickering/ flirting.. I LOVED IT!

One of the best thing about them is that they just fit SO well together. It's not just about the physical attraction, but the mental connection, the shared trauma, the responsabilities they had to carry on their shoulders. Two amazing souls who were lucky enough to meet each other, and lift some of that burden. One of the best love story ever told, IMHO.

I truly understand the frustration of the readers that it went off track in the book, but to be honest, I believe they wanted the viewers to see how far one can go in the name of love. Anthony got Kate in the book pretty easily compared to the series because Edwina was not as invested in him as in the series. I like how the series showed that Edwina's character has tested the connection between Anthony and Kate. For the record, I love the book and series equally. Reading the book again now that I have faced for my characters. p.s. Kanthony's chemistry is explosive!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

No way. Season 1 was the best. Season2 was bland. Half the time I couldn't understand what they were saying. They talked so fast and mumbled.The entire plot wore me out. They couldn't make up thier mind. I love you. I love you not. Everything about it was miserable.

Although I enjoyed season 1, after I read The Viscount who loved me I was so excited to see Kate and Anthony's story. The book is so different from the bridgerton season 2 but I loved the slow burn 🔥 and the enemies to lovers. I think that the 'we were caught in a compromised position so we musut marry' dilemma that was in the book was too similar to season 1 that they wanted to do something different and I was wondering how they would end up married. In the book they had to get married bc Anthony had compromised kate. These two had so much chemistry, I loved all the stares, that hand touches the arguing. It was great. I do wish they had more screen time and focus but I enjoyed it. For Benedict's season... now that one will be interesting to see if they follow any of the book.

I can't believe people are whining about the *lack of sex scenes* ....I mean.....are y'all blind to the insane heated chemistry that made me ensure I had a glass of cold water with me at all times????????

21st-century media has to a certain extent bastardized the concept of love and sex, it is merchandised and sold as a commodity, which is why when gems like these with slow-burn storylines visit our screens, the reviews are always mixed. I see people bombard the imbd review board with shallow interjections such as "didn't have enough steam" "less compelling" which sounds like absolute malarkey to me because their chemistry was off the charts (superior to season1 if you ask me, then again- personal opinion). Furthermore, it was ABSOLUTELY essential that Anthony's love story had more emotional screen time than the sexual one- since we clearly saw in S1 how frivolously he viewed sex and all things it stood for, he WAS A LITERAL PLAYBOY in victorian costumes. So for Shonda Rhimes to take this bold risk and let the story speak for itself in the pregnant pauses and stares that accompanied Kate and Anthony's conversations- forcing the viewer to actually gasp (and I mean GASP) for air (even before they actually kissed)- is a master's stroke. And if you think otherwise, I have some news for you- You were in it for the sex :) (which is not an issue either- just a little weird since each character deserves a different character arc, Daphne's character demanded that sexual awakening/screentime while Anthony's demanded an emotional one)

I agree with you. I found the telling of the story this season more compelling than the first. I really liked How they handled Anthony and Kate’s story. I liked this season more than the first. I also like How this is more an ensemble series wherein the cast members’ stories are interconnected and interdependent. There is a development of all the characters in this series. Just as it should be, in my opinion. I hope they’ll tackle Lady Danbury’s story. I liked her character in the books; I adore her in the series - along with Lady Violet and the Queen.

Queen Victoria even had a fondness for an Indian prince (Look up Duleep Singh, the Black Prince of Perthshire). The 'weirdness' comes from your perspective because of the lies that previous whitewashed media has taught you about history. Also, Kate did a spectacular job. The actress is a born superstar.

I am glad that they release the episode all together but I hate and the product company and Netflix can change is the ridiculous year gap between the seasons. Like fan are getting fed up with waiting one year for another season of any of the Netflix series. Also it doesn’t make sense to me that they take so long releasing a series with only 8 episode and not many episode unlike the other series with greater episodes that come out weekly and they don’t do a year gap. Why does it take a series with small episode to have a year gap when it is released.

i tried watching s1 when it came out but never finished bc it didn’t peak my interest. when i watched the trailer for s2 i already knew i would enjoy it much better and i was absolutely right. i’m a sucker for enemies to lovers trope and i live for a angsty slow burn love story. they have so much chemistry that i literally had to pause and take a breath a few times. i honestly don’t remember the last time i felt this way for a drama. i just wish there were more scenes of them and especially a wedding scene. i’m excited to see what s3 brings for them even if it’s just for a couple of scenes. binged watched all night and now it’s almost 6am and my head hurts.

Kate's poise, her walk and the way she carries herself is so feminine.

The way Anthony looked at Kate is just -😩😩 I had to pause several times while watching the serie because I kept on blushing like crazy and he is not even looking at meee!! Hope to see more of them in S3.

I was honestly worried about how shonda was going to top Daphne and Simon but OMG Anthony and Kate have shattered my soul!!

The tension between these two 😍 I love them. Every single scene with them was loaded with desire 🔥

I loved, loved, loved the second season. Their story is different from Simon and Daphne's Love Story, but it was also beautifully written. I also loved the introductions to Benedict's, Colin and Pen's as well as Eloise's stories during the series. Can't wait for Benedict's season. Also Kate is soo beautiful 😍

i couldnt stop tearing up from ep 5-8 omggg... I'm so pleasantly surprised this was such a strong comeback for a new season

Anthony and Kate 😍 just wow . Love their story just as much as Daphne and Simon's . Slow burner but just made it more perfect when they did get together . Can't wait for the next season's

UGHHHHH I JUST WANTED MORE KATE AND ANTHONY SCREEN TIME!!! I hated the way that Anthony proposed to edwina and I also hated that edwina fell for him and I also hated that Kate and edwina fell to an argument, edwina was supposed to be happy that Kate married Anthony. Edwina was supposed to fall for a scholar but I did love the season I just wished that they added the part where Kate jumped to Anthony’s lap to thank him for giving edwina a dowry and edwina loving that fact that Anthony was like her big brother she never had.

*My favourite scene is when he tells Daphne that Kate is aggravating. When you love someone so much, it's just bound to happen that all passion just spills. Your fights and your love all is too much to handle when it is the right person. This entire season was so poetic that it reminded me of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel.*

All their scenes were magnificent! It’s realistic because at the forefront they have to think about their duty and responsibility to their family as the eldest child. They are literal reflections of each other sacrificing their wants and needs for the good of their family. And these moments when their resolve slip and they can be themselves and make selfish choices was heart wrenching because they were always being observed by somebody - the Queen, lady Danbury, Their families, society etc2. Even to see them as a proper couple in the last 10 minutes showed how much they kept their emotions in check and now they’re free to love. Maybe in season 3 we’ll see more of the Viscount and Viscountess as a couple 😍😍😍

Bridgerton is in its own league I love this show. All the characters are simply amazing.

My favourite parts are when he huggs her from behind in the last episode and kiss, and when they dance too

I just can't believe that Bridgeton made us miss their wedding. We needed a full episode of their love plus the wedding of the queen's nephew. I didn't see someone being called a princess.

I just love them so much, this song suits them so well. They too burn for each other and ohhh they are so good looking.

These two are the loves of my life too. I just finished the whole season 2 and I cried of happiness in the last scene. During the bee scene I was hyperventilating, my heartbeat was so strong. Precious story ❤ I love Kate and Anthony with all my heart

I can assure you. I understand that not everyone gets this lucky but love, true and pure, exists. Everyone deserves a love like that. My wife and I had to fight to survive because our families refused to accept us, but we loved each other and we made it work. I would sacrifice anything for her without a moment of hesitation. I can only hope and pray that you will find the same one day.

Me too i felt so empty after watching it and i still do when i watch an episode. Because it feels like in our time and our society hook up culture is so important it takes the place of true love.

People who loved the second season would love the book!! It’s so much better!!! Imagine what you just saw in this video put into a book x100. And it’s only about Kate and Anthony and not the other ridiculous story lines!!

I read the book because of comments like this and I am so sad that I didnt like it. I cant unxerstand why so many people say that the Books are much better. In the book there werent really much scenes of them, even less after their marriage and the plot was so rushed and everything too fast.

Some people say they have no chemistry which makes me confused because every time they're together or looking at each other, the chemistry was through the effin roof!!!

Their chemistry is insane much better than the one of Simon and Daphne despite their many sex scenes during the first season I really like how you can feel the intense passion between them without any kisses before the episode 6

@@ellaml7980 oh well I think that's mostly from book fans who are disappointed with the way the show portrayed their love story. Anyway I have been seeing a lot of ppl from tiktok, Twitter and KZread say they absolutely love their chemistry

I truly understand the frustration of the readers that it went off track in the book, but to be honest, I believe they wanted the viewers to see how far one can go in the name of love. Anthony got Kate in the book pretty easily compared to the series because Edwina was not as invested in him as in the series. I like how the series showed that Edwina's character has tested the connection between Anthony and Kate. For the record, I love the book and series equally. Reading the book again now that I have faced for my characters. p.s. Kanthony's chemistry is explosive!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Oh my gosh. I read the books and I must say, if you haven't read the books and you like the show, DO NOT read the books. It hurts so much to watch. But as a show by itself its AMAZING, they have a great chemistry build up.

I also read the book and I have to say I didnt enjoyed it even a bit. The plot was too rushed and even though some scenes were changed on the show I didnt find them Bad

they really do mean everything to me. like ugh, they had me so emotional this season. i thought the first season was good, but it's truly gonna take a while for me to move on from them. beautiful edit

They almost had the same chemistry with Daphne/Simon on season 1 but the difference is they made us the audience wait and long for them to finally burst it out until episode 6!😂 My heart omg, everytime they are on screen. Anthony is really captivating already on season 1 but knowing how aggressive he is with women and then seeing him being held back with such a strong woman such as Kate, no wonder their chemistry is really off the charts on season 2. I think I also liked season 2 more because of them.

Even though Anthony’s character was imperfect in the first season, I still LOVED his scenes. The fact that they made the whole second season about him and Kate MADE MY YEAR😭😭 THANK YOU WRITERS

Aside from them veering so far from the book and ruining Edwina, I still loved Kate and Anthony in this so much. No intimate kisses yet they had so much chemistry just by looking at eachother. I live for this couple.

Agreed. Kate+Anthony is so strong that it makes up for doing Edwina dirty and wrecking the sacredness of El+Pen. I just kept telling myself to hold out until we got to Kate+Anthony, again.
