Hell was totally unaware of a new album and immediately feels and hits like only Katatonia could do!

His voice sounds like a fluffy cloud 🥺 When the sun's rays are shining through, making it glow. As if angels will come through at any moment. It's freaking gorgeous ❤️‍🔥

And they did it again... The only band renewing their sounds and remaining just as good as ever. My favorite! Thank you guys for composing still within a broken music industry

i am 17 years old(2005), my mum has been playing katatonia outloud since 2006 - release of the great cold distance. the song "my twin" and "the future of speech" has a special place in my heart. i fucking love you guys, and thank you Jonas for brightening my life

I keep saying... That end chord is perfect. Has a very menacing, dark quality. A friend said that part, to him, harkens back to their 90s era.

Heavy or not, I'm grateful that Katatonia is back and making more music. Not every song has to be guitar go burrr. Both heavy and light songs have their place in the album. The vocals on this one is winter personified \m/

Such beautiful transitions once again. Playing it on repeat.

This song is a dynamic journey through vibrant darkness. One of the definitions of atrium is anatomical cavity or passage of the heart that receives blood from the veins & forces it into the ventricles. By this, the title relates to the lyrics in that dark forces pushing their way into one's life will get in by any means necessary.

What’s funny is that this was announced the moment I woke up from a sleep where I dreamt about being front row at a Katatonia concert (Anders Nyström was singing lead on a song I never heard before, which stood out to me). This song is good! They REALLY teased me with the last 20 seconds with that old signature Katatonia sound being played for a bit.

Yeah, many songs on that album are. 'Sulfur' and 'The Future of Speech' are a couple other good examples. I'd say the album as a whole is very melodic.

I so love Katatonia!!! Their music is wonderful 😊. Wasn’t expecting another album for a year or so. It would be amazing for them to release a new album at least every 2 yrs. I can’t get enough. Going to see them in Harrisburg PA next month and they’re probably going to play a few new tunes!

Agreed. Best lineup they've ever had. Roger adds the guitar hero aspect to Anders' beautiful, melodic and unique-sounding leads, Niklas' bass is driving and progressive, and Daniel is simply one of the most inventive and powerful drummers in music right now. Great stuff.

instant hit! Too nice to have a non over-complicated tune, sometimes simpler is better IMHO. Can't wait to have the cd or the vinyl in my hands.

The Fall of Hearts is impeccable from start to finish. Their best album alongside Viva Emptiness, perhaps even better, as it is more varied and mature
