The announcer commentating the race in the anime reminds me a lot of the Japanese pro wrestling announcers, the sheer excitement in his voice really shines through and adding eurobeat to this makes the races a lot more exciting to watch!

Commentators in sports anime are always top notch and always manage to fire up the audience.

Glad to see a new incarnation of Initial D, a series I like. MF Ghost is so close to the action in Initial D. Its great.

"I'm sorry kanata" This kinda make me sad he knew already gt86 is underpowered car but beast at corner for light build, mf ghost really good at presenting the car love it so far

It's kinda the repeat of Takumi's 86, since it's incredibly weak at straight, but is invincible at cornering due Takumi's beyond human sense. Kanata's 86 is nearly the same, since the strongest point of that car is the balance.

Glad to see the return of initial D universe but going to miss the night danger race courses since street racing becomes an official car sport which means the organizer will have to plan a safer course

Kanata seriously be like at the end of this "Btw can you turn off traction control." I have to question why Ogata would put traction control on a racecar but wtf he did all of this shit with traction control.

Missed opportunity. They should have put an inertia drift in there just to mirror the first episode of Initial D.
