Exactly. A lot of these celebrity wives are biracial, meaning they aren’t desirable in their non black communities and they were made aware of that. Truth be told, a lot of biracial women especially feel self conscious about their looks because they feel as if that drop of black blood taints them. Because Brad will never put a biracial on the pedestal like he would a pure white woman, many biracials feel unworthy only for Blackistan to tell them the opposite - that they are more desirable and even more beautiful than unambiguous BW. So even when they are average or unattractive, they feel better knowing that at least their proximity to whiteness gives them a leg up that can only be leveraged in the BC unlike the non black communities that they belong too.

Eniko is a baddie (to some people) but Kevin Hart can’t stand her. He cheats on her all the time, even when she was pregnant, and I saw this dude last year, he did a 45min set. Also, he was clear that the man he was speaking of got their wives after they were already famous. David Chappelle for example has been with his wife for over 20 years and Cat Williams was not talking about David Chappelle’s wife.

FYI, “Oriental” isn’t super offensive, just technically inaccurate “Oriental” refers to things like “Oriental flavored ramen” or “Oriental rug” “Asian” refers to people like “Asian actor” or “Asian wife” Chappelle’s wife would not considered light skinned by East/Southeast Asian standards (ie. she’s Filipina). Edit: Jeannie Mai, who is Vietnamese, would also not be considered light skinned by those same standards. Someone considered light skinned (in the winter) would be Brenda Song but in the photos where she’s naturally tan, she’d be closer to Jeannie Mai’s natural coloring Hope this helps!
