I have a Kastking Royale Legend MH 7 foot rod with a Kastking Sharky 3 6000 Bait feeder reel with 25LB Kastking mono. I tried it out first time recently and you are right about light weight and the feel through the rod is amazing. I caught 5 catfish all about 6 to 8 inches long using a 2/0 hook in a river where there are small bull sharks in Australia . I was amazed at the feel the Kastking Royale Legend rod has even set up for much larger fish.

I got the 6000 and it works perfect when using the right line ..some people breaking them using heavy line..

I'm getting that same combo next month I gotta have one.

Have a tried any other kastking you'd recommend fir panfish in mn? Got a Spartacus 2 on 1 rid bit looking to upgrade to their best set up for reel but can't be bigger than a 2000 size

Is it only me or this reel has spool issues. Very heavy at bottom and line don't spool even. Line gets stuck in between the braid ready rubber and spool too. Need advise

What lures did you used?

I just bought 5 new Kastking reels, hoping the quality is better than that hat..... I will never understand why companies spend money on cheap hats and t-shirts; it makes the brand look bogus. Thanks for the review though, I'm excited to give them a try!

Kastking Has a large assortment of rods on Amazon I think the Calmus is a bit cheaper but I could be wrong

Depends on the reel and what I will be using it for, in this video I was using the Sharky 3 in a 2000 size for bass I spooled it with 20lb KastPro braid.
