You know I was 8yesrs when I used to watch kassave these people coming from south america

I was born in Mozambique 🇲🇿 when I was 5 yrs old my Dad used to play this songs & we had to listen to it whether we liked or not! Now that I’m in my 40’s & my Dad is no logger here with us, whenever I miss him I play this songs & they will remain in my heart forever 🙏🏽 THANK YOU KASSAV continue to rest in perfect peace both of you 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Ahhh cette mélodie j'étais très gamine mais grâce à mon père je l'écoutais chaque matin et je bougeais de la tête ❤❤. Aujourd'hui je l'écoute et je danse bien le zouk. Kassav les meilleures 😊❤

Born in the states ,(1992). I am mixed (Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 / Cape Verdian 🇨🇻 ). I remember my mom used to play this in the house when she was cleaning, or in the early afternoon to start the weekends. Ever since it stucked to me to now (27 years old). I love this song , it makes me so happy!

Thais makes me think of my husband! He passed 2 years ago and I miss him so much and listening to this just breaks me as he loved this! I wish i could be with him, today is his birthday and i look at pills and think that is all that is topping me from being with him! All i have to do is take them so i can be there in his arms

Deux Guadeloupéens : Freddy Marshall et Pierre Edouard Decimus ont eu cette inspiration , celle de puiser les sources ancestrales qui viennent de la culture Gwoka et la musique festif du carnaval de Guadeloupe, en maillant le deux donnant naissance à cette musique et a ce groupe d’anthologie. Merci messieurs, merci aux ancêtres Guadeloupéens qui nous ont légués cette belle culture qui a permis d’aboutir a tt cela.. MERCI 🙏🏿
