Good review. Thanks for taking the time to make this. Would be good to add how ones sunnies would fit in the ventilation slots and how it looks on your head. Nothing worse than having too much forehead exposure!

Had a big fall a few weeks ago - 280 stitches above my left eye.... bought this helmet as it sits perfectly just above my eyebrows... snug and secure and covers up my scar completely (which leads me to think it would've protected me on my fall)…. haven't actually worn it yet on a ride (just bought it yesterday and riding today)…. but fit and coverage was easily the best I tried (POC, Specialised, Bontrager), without being clunky. Hope this helps.

I have a (really) small head and the old Mojito size small fits me perfectly. I see that the Mojito 3's size small fits from 50cm rather than 48cm. Will the octo-fit system make up for the 'bigger' helmet capacity, or should I stick to the Mojito X?

mmmn an interesting point, I've got a proper meat head so I couldn't help with how the small sizing fits but i'd have thought it would be fine. Best of trying one in a bike shop if you get the chance! Hope that helps

Any news on when you are getting the full range of colours in? I’m interested in purchasing the high viz yellow, but you presently only stock black or white.

I love the new look. Much cleaner. I have a quick question.. I have a rounder head and the old Mojito fits me perfectly. Does this have the same shape/fit as the old Mojito? Is it round head friendly? I was going to buy another Mojito until this new model came out. Thanks.

Hi David, think most people agree with the new cleaner look 👍 The fit is very similar to the older model so should work well for you, Safe riding!

Hi. Nice helmet ! How you think, should I get size S 50-56cm or M 52-58 cm if my head is 55cm ? What size will be/should be the best for me (I ask because i will buy online) >? I will be grateful for help.

Bought one in white today from the bike shop i trust. My older mojito didn“t wear out already but i thought, well, the trend is to have a secondary helmet, isn“t it? Paid 120 Euros, regretting it a little because i stated before to myself: A helmet ca be used at least for 5 years before it loses it‘s capabilities. So you only buy a new one when it‘s time (in 2 years. But hey, who likes to wear the same Basecap day in day out? Or the same pair of jeans? So anyway... i am glad about what has been said in this video. At least i got a brand new design, and i hope it ventilates really well, despite the fact that it has less „holes“ than the model before. What is nice is the new fixing system and the straps plus the cushioning. Makes for a very firm, but very comfortable fit. Way better than the previous model. And the colour white is - despite from fluo yellow and orange - the best visible.

Hi Alexander, Great to hear back from a long term Mojito user. It's a great lid and more protective than the previeous model so money well spent in my opinion. Hard to beat the Mojito 3 for build quality and comfort too. Good choice 👍

I’m right at the maximum size for medium. Would it be better to go with the medium or the large?

Hi Detroit, Usually the sizing is on the safe side so you should fit into a medium. This should also give a compact look rather than having a helmet that looks too big. The only reason we'd suggest going for the L is if you wear winter caps/hats under the lid (or even grow your hair out too). Hope that helps 👍

I have the mojito 3 this is the 3rd mojito helmet I’ve owned

Can you with this model, hold your sunglasses, the one I have at the moment takes your glasses. But they slip out, as the vent spacing is too narrow, and the glass arms are not taught enough to grip.

Hi David, Great question (wish we had featured this in the video) We have tried this with some Oakley Sutro glasses and it works well. Big improvement over the older model 👍

mine always fall out of my Mojito 3 : ( other than that, excellent helmet

Very easy to install.

I must admit the design took awhile to grow on me. But when you compare it to an older Mojito, the new design does appear more sleek. Less ambitious in its design, but still a clean and stylish helmet.

My head measures 56cm. Should I go for small or medium size?

You'll probably fit the small but the medium will be a better option...as well as give you some room for hair and a summer/winter hat is you wear one 👍 Hope that helps

Just a shame they lost the Italian flag on the rear which i think is a nice bit of detailed styling on older models. First impression aesthetically looks cheaper but encouraging to hear its even safer which is really the main thing!

Does it have sunglass storage?

@@wiggle not in the vents, towards the rear sides of the head where the cradle used to sit. The ends of sunglasses would often clash in this area, but sounds like there is a new cradle. Is this likely to avoid clashes?

Hi Zeno, Quite a few little feature upgrades. Octofit system for a better cradle hold, the classic Kask eco leather chin strap, high viz highlights, anti bac liner as well as better ventilation and aerodynamics. Both should protect you just as well in a crash tho! Hope that helps 👍

That shoud be the ideal fit, you don't want to be the smaller end of a size as it looks massive! Hope it works well for you

@@wiggle bought in locally, in Singapore. Just wondering why the sticker says Mojito R. It looks like the Mojito 3. Possibly a different sticker in Asia? I just thought you might have heard of such different naming convention

@@kstbox7749 😆 used it for the whole of last summer and was pretty flawless. Got HJC ibex 2.0 to mix it up a little but to be honest the Kask is more comfortable and feels like it would protect you far batter too

100% a helmet that looks good, is super comfortable and protects your head very well. If that's importaint to a rider then it's worth every penny 👍
