*August 1947- Both countries became independent | Kashmir neither joined India nor Pak as Hari Singh want to make J&K Switzerland * October 1947- Pasthun tribal revolted in Kashmir with backyard support from Pak * 22 Oct, 1947- Pakistan attacked Kashmir and forces reached upto Srinagar, Hari Singh can't resist and India can't help because Kashmir was not a part of India *25th Oct, 1947- Maharaja Hari Singh reached Delhi to seek help from India. Nehru denied and told we can only send our troops if Kashmir merge with India. *26th Oct, 1947- Hari Singh signed Instrument of Accession (विलय पत्र) and from that day Jammu & Kashmir became integral part of India. *Jan 1948- UNSC told plebiscite can only be held if troops from both the countries withdrawn and the position be maintained as on 22nd Oct, 1947. * Troops never withdrawn and Kashmir issue persist even in 2022. *Reason- Both country fears that if they withdraw their troops then other side will capture whole J&K **Madam, you are teaching in a very excellent way but neutrality should be there if anyone is preparing for Civil Service Exam!

Indian forces were the first to enter kashmir after our pashtun tribesmen. Pakistan officially joined the conflict after hari singh signed the controversial accession out of pressure.

This story of Kashmir is a bit wrong, at the time of independence, princely states had a feeling that if you join India, then you will join Pakistan, you remain free and Kashmir wants to remain free, but Pakistan did not like this because Kashmir There were a lot of Muslims in India and that's why Pakistan sent the army in the guise of Pashtun tribesmen to occupy Kashmir, seeing that King Hari Singh sought help from India but India agreed that we cannot help because the law Doesn't say that's why PM Nehru saidThat you merge Kashmir with India, then India can help you, so King Hari Singh merged Kashmir with India, then India sent army to Kashmir and the war started.

What is the further challenges pak is going to face after the abrogation of article 370 and 52(A). Can we still claim on ( india held kashmir) despite it has become unit of india?

Let me add Indian point of view on this issue : The uprising in Kashmir started due to invasion of armed tribal forces from Pakistan into the state of Kashmir. The failure of Kashmiri army against the armed Pakistani tribal forces made Raja Hari Singh realize that his state will be illegally annexed. Raja Hari Singh writes a letter to the Indian Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru requesting the help of India to counter the situation. Jawahar Lal Nehru asks Raja Hari Singh to join the Republic of India in return. Raja Hari Singh passes instrument of accession for merger of state of Kashmir into the Republic of India. India sends the army to Kashmir with which the Pakistani army retaliates leading to the First Kashmir War of 1947-48. Me or the person reading my comment, we both do not know what actually happened. What we are taught here and I'm assuming the video as what you guys are taught in Pakistan.
