So wonderful to watch this. Thank you. I just finished watching Peshawa Bajirao Hindi serial and felt very happy to see Kashibai!s ancestral house. But very sad that the government of Maharashtra has not taken interest in preserving such a important heritage site. Instead of spending crores of rupees on monuments for politicians! Thank you for putting this on KZread. You have done such a wonderful job putting this together. I am an Indian settled in Canada. So happy to learn a little bit more of history of the bajirao Peshawa family. Thank you.

I m very happy cause my grandparents house is just diagonal to chaskar wada.. When I visited their house I could see chaskar wada from the balcony..my grandparents still live there.... And next to the wada there is a ram mandir which too very beautiful and its named after my great grandparents 😌😌

10:36 That is written in Marathi. It is called modi lipi ( मोडी लिपी ). In olden times Marathi language was written modi lipi. Sadly, few decades ago modi lipi was dropped off from its official usage. Most of the ancient marathi literature was written in modi lipi.

UNESCO should considered the palace as World Heritage Site for the world to see and become a tourist spot. Warriors who fought for their country should be honored by the government and preserved and protected the place. Saddened even we're not India people we felt we should honored them as a Patriot and fought for the kingdom.

Definitely true. One day, we will visit India and the place and home of Kashibai and Bajirao. Mastani was so fictional and we don't like it. My wife doesn't want to watched that movie or series. Kashibai Bajirao Ballal was fine right now with Aarohi Patel and Venkatesh Pande but once their gone, we won't watch it. We don't like the actor and actress and we don't want to sad and angry if they followed suit the fictional story of Mastani to be included in the story again. Love Love Love Aarohi and Venkatesh.

Thank you very much for sharing this. Indeed a great job. I am from Pune, but till today I was not aware about Kashibai's Parental Home. I knew that she belonged to a place called Chas, but never heard about her house. In history people always remember about Bajirao and Mastani, but Kashibai is forgotten. I hope with your video, Kashibai will never be forgotten. I thank you once again for making this video. Also it is bad to see that government (both at state and center) doesn't seem to be interested in maintaining such places which are of historical importance.

I feel scattered when see the conditions of our Brave History, and not a single government preserved it properly. When I met Chaskar ji, I was also surprised. They are very rich during that time. Just imagine Shaniwarwada construction cost was only 16000 rs But Chaskar family spend 25000 rs on Kasi Bai and Baji Rao marriage.

It was Marathi. Old Marathi was written in Modi language. Marathi is such a versatile language, it should get reward of cultural language ,this issue is always ignored by central government. Feels like they want to anyway stop Marathis spread.

These places must be maintained as best as possible retaining old Glory ,with least changes ,Maharashtra Govt.,Under Uddhav ji Thakre must allot a sum of 50 lakhs to the present elderly person after cleaning the plant growth ,must clean the surroundings under Govt.,expense and make it a tourist spot and give 20 % of that collection to this family .Tradition and culture must be preserved ,Why not Uddhav ji ,do this and be a different leader ??? Want him to do that ,my personal wish .will he ??? Let him do.If he needs I will give my ideas and help ,develop under my supervision ,Am avid admirer of Samrat Sivaji Maharaj.

One should Learn from Rajasthan forts how beautifully they are maintained. And the forts of the great Marathas who contributed the most are in bad conditions state govt is responsible for it . All day they cry we the Marathas but look at their forts not even maintained

@@nitu9900 so true! Unfortunately, the Maharashtra government has done very little to preserve our historical monuments & sites, unlike other states who take pride in preserving them. Take Shivaji Maharaj's forts for example. Very little is done to maintain and re-establish the ruins. Maharashtra is equally rich in history & culture with valours of Shivaji Maharaj or the Peshwas but it has to be maintained well.
