How dare Jean make his kids sign a contract to see him. That in itself is crazy. She had no right to do any of the horrible things she did to Kasey or his kids. She banned those kids from the wedding also. I hope Carrie can get justice at some point. That stepmother will end up in hell for sure which is exactly where she belongs.

Mike Kasem! This dude used to work for MTV in the 90s. I remember this interview he did with Tupac and suge not long before he passed. It was quite funny cos Pac went on this rant and abruptly cut the interview short leaving Mike a bit dazed 😆. I cant find that clip anywhere though!

That story is so infinitely sad. How can a wife get so much legal and power of attorney leverage over an elderly man? I watched the 48 hour crime report a while back. It's heart breaking.

Mike, have you ever considered sitting in for Ryan Seacrest when needed? You have the voice also.

R.I.P. Casey Kasem (April 27th,1932- June 15th,2014)

OK! I’m going to say this. Some stepmother‘s are very cool and some are not. I apologize but Casey’s wife was not cool to break the contract with Mike to let him see his own dad. I believe any stepmother would let a father’s child see them. Good for Mike and Carrie. Rest in peace Casey. You will be truly missed. By the way, I must confess that I didn’t know that he was the voice of shaggy until 1996 when I was watching super chunk on Cartoon Network back in the day.

Wow, he looks like his dad. I hate to say it but when a parent marries a second time, u r very blessed if your step parent treats u like their own. It really depends on their mindset and character. Some step parents don’t care for their first wife children.

So few of these estate disputes are Evil v Innocence. Usually both sides have passionate reasons to do what they do. It’s not even about money as much as the feeling of being out of control of one’s life and of those others who have a stake in the estate. If Junior inherits more than I, no matter what I do, how fair is that? One family member says stop life support; all others protest: NEVER! I believe in miracles; you, strictly in science. We cannot presume evil intent on any side.

He did the voice of shaggy in scooby doo and the voice of Alexander in Jose and the pussycats too.
