The Karuma Power Project physical progress is currently at 78%, with some of the key civil works at the project completed.
Although the progress is significant, the timely completion of the Project as per the stipulated time frame of December 2018 is unlikely.
Once complete, the Karuma Hydropower project shall contribute 600Mega watts to the National power grid.
