Not from Karimnagar to Bangalore. But from Bangalore to Karimnagar the accident happened.
Information provided by cheyyar Balu is totally wrong. it is a two seater single engine plane with pilot and the sole passenger is soundarya . It was a very old plane with engine dating back to 1949 with the body refurbished and spruced up.I think at Bellary airport the old plane climbed about 200 feet and suddenly fell down. If i remember correctly, the pilot was one 29 year old Phillip. Both perished in the incident. It was widely speculated that the pilot had against Civil Aviations instructions allowed soundarya to occupy the cockpit seat and Soundarya could have inadvertently pushed some buttons which had caused the sudden fall.
