In the 80's India and China had same GDP. The GDP per capita of India was higher than that of China. Now the GDP of China is 18 trillion and GDP per capita is 10500 both of which are 5 times that of India. The people of India should be ashamed of themselves for supporting caste and religion politics instead of striving for development and growth. Karnataka any day . In the early 90s I had planned to move to either chennai or Bangalore and I felt Bangalore will be better because of weather and people also are not rigid like tamilians. I had gone to Chennai for some work and I found communication very difficult that in first visit I decided NO I can't stay here. I came to Bangalore in 96 and I found communication a lot easier. Atleast bus conductors autowalas replying in Hindi . And today in 2023 every 3rd person in Karnataka understands hindi , a thing I liked a lot . Everywhere, whether it be auto , bus ,maids even if they don't understand completely they can understand what I mean . I also had to learn kannada as a 3rd language in school and then started communicating in kannada . I feel it's the best state in south india to live. People are amazing unlike Tamil Nadu, ap and Kerala . Im not insulting but I didn't feel very comfortable while traveling in those states. So from guy migrating from north , karnataka is the best state for you and it's growing much rapidly than TN .
