I think it would be nice to get/find/make a Ghia kit for a Generation II Beetle. Yes, yes, I know, it would be a Wanabe Karman Ghia, but it would still be cool.

I did a full restoration on my '71 Ghia by myself. I have to admit that Craig's look better, but also, he looks like he lost a shirt restoring it😂

Good question, let's hope one day he finds this video and he can answer. I made this video after asking him if I would've been able to find his creation online and he replied: No, never! So, I wanted other people to see what he had put together. A really nice car with so many features and a great guy to talk to.

@@RitmoMotion It's rather an extreme custom. I liked the moonroof addition, that is not an easy task. I just got done restoring my 69 stock Ghia and that was a hard restoration and I did it all myself. Body work and paint and everything else. He just does not look like the type of person who would do the actual body work and paint himself. He looks like a fabricator to me. Thanks for sharing.

I'm surprised he put such a big engine in it. I love the horse power in it, but the rest is a bit too modern for me. He would have been better off just buying a used Porsche.

I could not agree more. Why spend a fortune to ruin a classic car and produce a near-copy of a more recent everyday one that would cost a lot less to buy ready-made at your nearest used car lot?

If everyone thought that ignorantly no one would watch any of your videos because you're just producing copies of "My Classic Car". Far be it for the guy to enjoy a hobby with you and so many used car lots around.
