I think Tara and Karlie did a great job explaining code, you can’t teach someone to code in 11 minutes but they made it fun and cool!

They just try to make shitty comparisons and then don't show you any code other than some small parts from a shitty language. So cool.

Pretty much, if you know anything about Karlie Kloss, Kode with Klossy is for young girls that are in middle and high school
Despite the naysayers of this video, they do illustrate one of the most important underlying basics of coding, which is something my college professors never taught. Beginning programmers would write more effective code, if they understood the concept introduced here. Computers are dirt dumb stupid. You need to spell out exactly what you want them to do, in precise syntax, or your program will fail.

MY FAVS wish I had this video to watch when I started comp sci!!!
Everyone is upset, but I'm pretty sure it's for kids. Hence the 'substitute' teacher theme.
I get what this trying to do, but honestly I feel like individuals wanting to go into programming would learn more from Crash Course videos or coding centric channels. Not to mention, programming is definitely not all sunshine and roses (beginners sometimes get this perception)...it can be quite taxing at times.

Karlie 💚🙌
This is a pretty cool way to try to motivate girls to code by being relatable and interesting for them. Now, the way we can all truly achieve equality is to not get upset when someone makes a similar program that is tailored to boy's interests. Allowing freedom to take place, people will choose on there own if they like coding and want to participate. This way we can say that people who want to code choose to do so and it is not because a specific group was pushed into it more then another group.

Ok now I'm jelous
"I'm gonna pretend that I'm a robot..." Until the student, Ami, came on the screen, they pretended as if they were speaking to a machine that didn't know English. It felt INCREDIBLY uncomfortable... They definitely need to focus on talking to a "real" person from the beginning. They need to do a far better job signposting what the age group for the students are. It felt like they were imagining talking to students between 11-13, but it's not really clear... Also, bring back Ken Jeong!!
