Its a shame they dont speak any more. I was curious why so i dug around online and found this. This is definitely hearsay, but I have a friend who knew some assistant that worked on a few Ricky and Steve projects, years ago. It recently came up in conversation, and my friend heard this pretty surprising story that I definitely hadn't heard when he passed it on to me. It's not recent, in fact it was around Life's Too Short time, either just before or just after the series aired. Ricky, Steve, and a producer (and the assistant, the source of this story) were travelling back to their hotel in a limo after some awards event. Basically they got into an argument about future projects (maybe Ricky floated the idea of an Office follow-up before the Brent film idea was finalised?). It got pretty heated and Steve kind of slammed his fist against the wall. But he hit that button that lowers the window between the driver and the passengers. Everyone kind of naturally looked through the now-open window: little monkey fella sat behind the wheel

I wasn't being sarcastic and wouldn't completely rule out it being staged, I believe it happened tho, that guys been all over the world, the Afghanistan show clearly wasn't staged so I'm not sure this is either.. I think they were just trying to exercise their power as he was on their turf! Either way entertaining show and either way again.. He's bloody brilliant in extras! 😁

Explanation for non-UK viewers: The joke about Ross Kemp is he's bald but also that he used to play one of the Mitchell brothers on Eastenders (English soap opra) with the other brother also being bald, so Ricky was basically saying Karl was the other Mitchell brother

She was in one about a week ago where they try British food. I think they both work full time and do different hours and Josh usually does this whilst she's working or sleeping. He's also said she doesn't really like being in that little room and she has her own creative projects etc to do when she has some free time.

These aren't new insults.. They're the same from the last 2 uploads I think 🤔

Brilliant! These three have a priceless dynamic. We're so lucky that they met and did a radio show together which was recorded. I've always thought that Karl was unique by being genuine and unaffected by fame but naturally hilarious. Actually though, I think one person who comes close in having those traits is Ozzy Osbourne. I watched an interview with him on KZread called You Only Live Once from 1990, Nick Hancock interviewing, and it was incredibly funny and Ozzy was so natural, endearing and lovely despite the wild stories. Well worth a watch if you can understand half of what he's saying. Very quick-witted guy too actually.

Josh you should react to some clips from "Bruiser" it was Mitchell and Webb's first show and also Ricky Gervais was a writer. Specifically, a great clip is "Bruiser - Do you do poison?"
