Karl is genuinely a good soul. Careful not to take credit where it is not due, but politely states his impact on things perfectly. He was good to Kraftwerk and remains good to us all.

Love Kraftwerk. I saw them live for the 5th time in De Lokerse Feesten on the 12th of August. It was again amazing good. Greetings from Belgium. Dirk.

In David Bucklay's book about Kraftwerk he said that he would never go back to those Kraftwerk times and he couldn't help the author with the book. A now... he presents his own book about his days in Kraftwerk. No one can escape his own past.

That’s incorrect. It’s not ‘about kraftwerk’ it’s about his life and the obligatory effect kraftwerk has had upon it and across his career. It’s also entirely up to Karl when he wants to go public about this sort of thing.

At 50:12 I suspect he’s referring both to kraftwerk and Elektric Music unreleased demos.

I hope he releases them one day. he is insinuating in his book that he is sitting on a lot of unreleased content, like more demo versions of Techno Pop from 1982, studio sessions from 1976-1982, and some concert recordings they did themselves.

@@etc834 I don’t think we’ll see any demo material because he’s said in the past that he doesn’t consider demo versions of released songs to be unreleased. But I think one day we might see some of the Elektric music stuff or more of his own songs come out in some shape or form.

It's a shame Karl doesn't like how Wolfgang works on his music. I've much preferred Wolfgangs solo stuff and Yamo compared to Karls Kraftwerk-lite style too.
