Dr Oberg reviews the geocentric model as a past model now deposed by the academy. And yet the geocentric model includes the rotating universe having all bodies subject to the universe's daily motion. The so-called observational evidences for the moving Earth and the Earth's non-centrality in the universe is never evidenced or proven simply because local observations cannot debunk or support the non-rotation of the entire universe. The only way to debunk the stationary Earth model is to make some grand universal observation that contradicts the universe's daily motion. No such observations have ever been made and because God has revealed the Earth is stationary (1 Chron 16:30, psalms et al), the apparently demoted geocentric model is really only ignored by the post-modern academy without reference to the limits of the inductive method and the superior authority of divine revelation. The geocentric model always remains a viable cosmological model disregarding the modern academy's propensity to dismiss the model based upon poorly formed arguments and sophistic reasoning against the model. Admitting I did not listen to the entire lecture - Dr Orberg's research on chemistry, if related to the evolutionary presuppositions of modern theory is really research into the physical world dictated by a bottom-up anti-realist model contrary to divine revelation.
