They're very different but it's the mix between Fado and modern sounds that gives that impression. I just love these type of songs !

@@pedromacedo7554 not exactly. Conan’s song had more electronic sound and some ethnic elements. Carolina’s song is on the same genre with Salvador but I don’t see it doing even the top 10 in Eurovision. And she has the most views from all the songs

Uma coisa que nao valorizamos, a rtp mete as musicas com as letras e é dos poucos paises que o faz. Para os outros paises temos de procurar pelas letras o que torna chato, mas o festival da cançao disponibiliza os videos com as letras e ainda com um efeito especial o que torna tudo mais bonito.

@André Paulo vilhena Carvalho Barbosa Naquela altura o Conan não passou porque ele indiretamente estwva a apoiar a Palestina. Ex: As cores das roupas que ele levou/entrou no palco. (Em Israel e em Portugal). Se tivesse passado para a final, ele provavelmente ia de Vermelho, completando as cores da bandeira da Palestina ( Branco, Vermelho, Verde e Preto)

Mas que belo refrão, Vira e Volta a Saudade...então, porque não repetí-lo tantas vezes? Não me cansa ouvir. Depois, soa-me a Açores, Coimbra, o balanço do dedilhar das guitarras, a fado, a tuna académica... A música avança, o som do acordeão, "la revancha del tango", a sonoridade Brankiana, ritmos transmontanos, Podence... This is soo good, I really love fado and I think that this mix with electric music makes it sounds very interesting... It gives me Telemoveis vibes, but way more accessible, as Conan was too "strange" for average viewer and I guess thats what killed his chances on ESC...
