Thus video is about unexplored trek of Himachal Pradesh. Kareri lake the most beautiful trek. Kareri lake is best known for being a trekking destination in the Dhauladhars. The lake remains frozen from early December to March-April. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Shakti on a hilltop overlooking the lake. Kareri Lake is a high altitude, shallow, fresh water lake south of the Dhauladhar range approximately 10 km North West of Dharamsala in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. Its surface is 2934 metres above the sea level. Snow melting from the Dhauladhar range serves as the source of the lake and a stream, Nyund is the outflow. Since the source is fresh melting snow and the lake is shallow, water visibility is very high and in most places, the lake bed can be seen. A trip to the Kareri Lake is thus definitely not worth a miss, especially for nature lovers.

There are not any accommodations or accommodations near Kareri Lake, so tenting is the most effective choice for accommodation. You can deliver your very own camping tools or hire it from the local shops in Kareri. You can also ask for guide at kareri village, who will make all the arrangements for you.
There are a lot of bears found in these types of Sites.

Yes, kareri is also known as bear valley. But we went on Janmashtami there, in crowd these wild animals don't come around

We went to Kareri lake on Janmashtami. Roads open hai. Or trek bhi Awesome hai. You should visit there. Kareri se aage 13kms ka trek hai Lamdal lake ke liye, vo bhi open hai abhi.

2 treks hai kareri lake ke liye, ek trek Salli village se start hota hai trek vo thoda tough trek hai or distance 13km hai. Salli shahpur se 24km ke distance pe hai. 2nd trek kareri village se start hota hai, which is 10km. Kareri trek shahpur se 30km se distance pe hai.
How to reach kareri village from dharmasala and what is the fair ?

You can take Taxi from Dharmashala to kareri village, the fair will be 1500Rs.

You can also take bus to ghera, and take shared taxi from ghera to kareri Village.
