I haven’t watched this show in years. My Mom happened to have it on in the background and I came out when I heard her singing because I thought it was an award show!! Absolutely beautiful voice!

Karen’s been consistent since her audition, and is the epitome of what authentic and current country should sound like! I like her switch to a heartfelt ballad this week. The performance was wonderful.

so beautifully emotive, invested in the story, believable on the melody, melting my heart. Such good, subtle use of dynamics and knows when to bite into the words. There's levels to this ish. She hit them all.

She is going to rock the country music scene regardless of whether she wins this competition or not. I don’t even really listen to country anymore but she’s just too good!

Karen is singing for her life! She is going to be in the finale! This was a moment for Karen. Perfect song choice for her and she crushed that. That was her best performance of the season. I am loving all of her performances every single week. She never misses at all.

She killed it! This was award worthy!

Singing Sugarland could be tricky because Jennifer Nettles is one of my favorite female singers of all time, her voice is unlike any other! Karen, solid job on that song, it felt like I’m watching her at a country music award show then watching The Voice! It was a fantastic performance!

I was just cruizing channels and her voice and look made me stop. Not a country fan at all but man can this lady sing, talk about a voice, she has it all. Can't believe she is on the Voice and not a star already.

I get a little scared when people sing this song because I’m scared of the mic. Y’all remember Kristen Merlin in Season 5? She sang this song and the mic went out towards the end of her song. She didn’t get eliminated because of it but just gives me minor PTSD

She reminds me of Lauren Duski from season 12

I think it would have sounded better if it had been stripped down more with just a guitar, soft and quiet. Karen has an incredible voice and beautiful smile. Hopefully, she will be able to move forward in the competition.

What is up with all these songs called stay we had stay by Justin Bieber Rihanna now this lol but yeah amazing as always really and she's gorgeous as hell I do like Sugarland as well and this song to

She did what she needed to do. This is not a song anyone sings, because it is seriously almost too sad. Karen already has a country star voice - but she's been a bit robotic. Too many years grinding. She puts all that rasp in her voice and lets the raw sound work to her advantage here. She's a standout who deserves to make the finals. This is not the only color to her vocal pallette - she's extremely talented.

Great singing though.

Karen you are great - perhaps a little tiny pushed / overdone on this song. don't need to work so hard and it will still come across as you are the real deal. I would relax more into it a tiny.

Between Jennifer Nettles and Karen waldrup their performance isn't similar then I thought it was, Jennifer was angry and crying but Karen was just angry and not crying

Agreed, happens every year. Reba is more worldly than Blake though. I think she wants Asher to win. Of course, that undeserving Josh guy just makes it less likely that he will. Kelly had some undeserving winners too when she started. 15 year old girls. Who sang country or acted like they wanted too. I still can't believe that Gwen won with that little kid over the great Kyla Jade. Every year I'm disappointed. Maybe John's cruise ship showman will surprise everyone? He's a good singer with a totally unmemorable voice. Puts on a hell of a show though.... I can think of a few reasons why Asher makes the bumpkins unhappy. Karen is likely to win. She's legit.

when you sing a Jennifer nettles song you have to sing as good or better. she's good but didn't succeed in singing thus song

I'm done watching The Voice it just went from bad to just plain horrible this season.
