Karen Read's Defense Rips Brian Albert Over Testimony, Allegedly Wiping Cell Phone

Ойын-сауық

Karen Read’s defense team ripped apart Brian Albert’s testimony during cross-examination in the boyfriend cop murder trial Monday. John O’Keefe, Read’s then boyfriend, was found dead outside Albert’s home back in January of 2022. Read is currently on trial for O’Keefe’s murder.

You haven’t worked it out … this defence lawyer is asking all kinds of irrelevant questions about events that the average person would not necessarily recall … he’s trying to discredit these witnesses to get his guilty client off a murder charge … a client who had motive (angry and jealous at her deceased boyfriend) and opportunity (he was in her SUV and she dropped him off at the exact spot where she found him deceased) … she even screamed to a first responder “I did it” … “I did it” … “I did it” … three times … not once… … this defence lawyer is just muddying the waters … only smart people could see what his tactic is … he knows how to fool average folk who think only on a superficial level …

I have always assumed that O'Keefe was unconscious as well. If hypothermia was, indeed, a contributing factor to his death -- which I have read all over the internet, despite not having seen the ME's report yet -- namely, assuming JO wasn't dead when whatever happened happened, he was almost certainly unconscious. Hypothermia isn't actually a brutal way to go, if you're already in bad shape. If you're fine, the earlier stages aren't pleasant. Interestingly, some people (def not O'Keefe) experience paradoxical undressing because people suffering from hypothermia may feel VERY hot. There's a physiological reason, but it's irrelevant to this case & I think I'm back to where I was. Just killing time in the comment section while I let the trial play until wherever I fell asleep last night. 0/10 recommend falling asleep to Brian Albert's voice.... something about the way he talks is odd. Yis. I'm NOT referring to a Boston accent. Some of us aren't focusing on accents during a second degree murder trial (and it's all of us either from Massachusetts or people who are not from MA but have respect for how serious the loss of life is).

Disclaimer, this is very sad but this is what happened to john. The FBI has confirmed his bodily injuries are not from being hit by a car or 6,000 lb suv. FBI forensic analysis has also confirmed that Jen McCabe's searches are accurate. Colin and Brian attacked him in the basement after the blunt force trauma to the back of the head, he had a seizure and vomited and he lost three pints of blood which is why they ripped up the basement flooring. And yes, while they attacked him Chloe was also in the basement and she attacked his arm. Initially they planned to pretend a snow plow driver hit him. They threw him on the lawn and that's why Jen McCabe googled how long to die in the cold. They should have called in 911, but they wanted to protect themselves and especially colin. The next morning Jen McCabe did not want Karen to stop at fairview. She tried to keep driving on. Karen insisted and jumped out of the car. That foiled their plans of blaming the snow plow driver and so from there they had to frame Karen

Where did the gash come from……from falling back in the snow on a lawn? How did he get the dog bite marks and the right swollen eye? I believe that there was a fight inside the house in the basement and John was hit and fell back onto the concrete in the basement……..after the dog had attacked him……and then the floor had been replaced after in the basement? Whole story is too fishy. This is a police cover up and it stinks. Knowing that a body was on the lawn why did the police not search the house to see if there had been a fight inside. They did not even look for John’s missing sneaker.

This police officer it’s not credible to me he doesn’t understand how cell phones work. 30 years and he’s acting like he’s got this faulty memory in an alleged murder of another police officer. It’s like pulling teeth getting a straight answer. He should be clear, concise, and confident of his own testimony. Deliberately misleading, pretending he can’t understand the questions, leaving out information about who was there. This would all be more believable if he wasn’t a 30 year veteran police officer. I don’t know why he’s not being forthcoming but it’s obvious he’s not telling what he knows.

His own testimony was that he has testified in at least 100 cases but he can’t remember anything significant about a tragedy that happened at his own house. Doesn’t that make one think about those other 100+ cases and his role in sending someone to jail? He is one of the least believable people I’ve seen in any kind of trial, particularly as a law enforcement officer. He looks worse than the police in the OJ Simpson trial, and that’s really saying something

Even the most placid and friendly dogs I have known or owned would have been alerted and barking at a load of noise, lights and people outside my house, let alone on my lawn!!! Especially my Doberman who was massive and the biggest baby I have ever owned,he was such a beautiful gentleman, he wouldn't even bark at the Postman! If a baby was crying on TV, his ears would pick up, then he'd go and lick the screen! It was hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣 But if you started to get aggressive then it was an effort to hold him back, even if it was me & my mates play fighting!

There are soooo, soooo many WTF moments in the evidence against Karen!!! The Judge has been so, so biased against the Defence it's unbelievable! John O'Keefe's injuries would suggest that he was bent over, head turned away from Karens car and yet she hit him so hard that it broke her rear light, gave him a laceration to the back of his head, fractured his skull and gave him bruising to his face! Did he crawl in to the garden? Why were no forensic investigations done??? This makes no sense, unless it's a cover up & you are framing Karen!
