I think they are wasting time with badgering that paramedic. You can go to school with someone and not be friends. Also it's in the nature of her job to most likely end up attending to places or people she may know or be acquainted with.

But the fact she is downplaying her relationship with Caitlin to me she is trying to hide something(s), and she needs to be questioned/badgered till the truth comes out. If she perjured herself by lying on the stand, she needs to have her Paramedic license revoked, lose her job and face jail time!
