Karen & Denys - "...and then I know I can bear anything"

Ойын-сауық

PLEASE READ FIRST!! (Headphones recommended!)
I have gotten some feedback that the song is too loud, the reason for this that I had huge problems with my editing program making this video. I have now added subtitles, so please turn them on if you're having problems hearing the voiceovers! :)
I guess I made this video a bit different than my other Saturn videos, in the way that I tell the story. It doesn't really go from start till end, but rather I put some memories as it goes. Hope you will like it!

When she walked off carrying the dirt at his funeral i started sobbing so hard in the theatre. I had no idea how this movie would remind me of the man who had just left. I had to sit there and get control of myself. It still brings back the memories. Such a great work by Sydney and the actors.

IMHO, you cut the scene of her amongst the packing crates just short of the best line in the movie, where she asks if he's had dinner. She's sitting surrounded by the utter ruin of her life, and still, she 's the consummate host, thinking of Denys as her honored guest. Even with her life falling apart around her, she still has that steel in her spine, that grace. All that said, THANK YOU! I love this video!

I'm Danish, when I was growing up and a teen ager, Karen Blixen was portrayed in the Danish press as an older eccentric not very attractive lady. however reading the book about her and Denys Finch Hatton she was so much more than that. Courageous, ahead of her time and quite charming and lovely in her youth. I have been to her childhood home, which is now a museum in Rungsted north of Copenhagen. By the way my dad who was a Gardner did his apprentice ship in the town of Rungsted.

i hate how they downplay this, The Hon. Denys Finch-Hatton came from one of the oldest aristocratic in England, he descended from Christopher Hatton (Lord Chancellor to Queen Elizabeth I) and Finch from the Earls of Winchilsea and Nottingham! Denys's brother, 14th Earl of Winchilsea was married to the richest american heiress of the season, Margaretta Drexel His Grandmother the ironically named Fanny Rice was great niece of Jane Austen from her brother Edward Austen Knight. Thank you for putting in the subtitles so the loud music wasn't a big issue. I have in general found that the singers they most often use in movie accompaniment or during the final credits are usually not very good singers, or have odd (and often annoying, affected voices) that I find quite unpleasant. In your opinion do you think they do that to help the theater owners get the customers out quickly so they can start filling up for the next showing? I'm serious, while watching at home I usually have to mute my TV at those times. I'd like your opinion, please.
