People …. This woman is not a machine. People are so implacable thinking that she is supposed to be able to reach the super soprano notes for 100 years. The problem is you’re looking for the singer instead of listening to the message.

Since her husband has this promotion, I feel like they have been over working her. This convention, that convention every weekend and sometimes during the week. She needs her rest. And as we get older that's important. But God I'd good to her. 🙏🏽✝️🙏🏽⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️

When she is rested she is POWERFUL e.g. last month. When she is tired she change techniques. When she was tired in earlier years she growled through the songs nowadays she make her mix HEADER than normal and use fast falsetto. Truly a SMART singer.

If you look at the old Karen Clark videos - This is a different Karen Clark. The old KC took no prisoners. The last performance where you saw Karen Clark-Sheard was able to bring back Karen Clark, was her joint performance with Donnie McClurkin, and the track, "If you wait". However, Karen, had to dig deep. In order for her God given gift to recover, she would have to not use her voice for at least 12 months. Even then, there's no guarantees. Most of the performances now, are 75% speaking as opposed to singing. And finally, Karen and the Clark Sisters, in general, no longer cover their back catalogue. JESUS is a love song, I have got an ANGEL, now - abridged version, Karen's over dubs gone, and Name it claim it.

@@Swanky723 - Blessings - Thank you for your kind response. I understand, having seen Karen in concert - and the Clark Sisters. I do worry. They came to prominence, as a result of their blessed voices. Of the many songs that rescued me, when things are low, low, down, was "JESUS FOREVERMORE", "CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF YOUR LOVE," "NAME IT CLAIM IT, " "WALKING IN THE SPIRIT" and "CAST YOUR CARES ON HIM." These songs may never be covered again.

AnyOne whose critical.....remember she recovered from a life threatening surgery years ago. Time, talents and seasoning shows due to workload, use, care, and age. She sings or Sangs with her all and all because it's for God. She's also a wife, mother, grandmother, First Lady of the COGIC, SANGER, sister, aunt, cousin, recording artist, entrepreneur, philanthropist...Criticize someone who ain't this busy.

People need to remember Karen is in her 60's and this is generally when a high voice starts to experience trouble with those higher notes. She literally made what she had available on the day work for her. Master class in vocal delivery 👏🏽

I truly don't get some of these comments lol. I mean she beasted this song in a skillfull masterful way! Despite whatever "hoarness/straining " she still scaled back and SANG this song in a much more healthy/ preserving vocal execution method while still being nearly just as effective as we've always been known her to be. No complaints here. #thebestever

I do want her to find time to rest and whatnot tho, not saying she doesnt but I just want her to be well and not overdo it cuz before u kno it, u be done overworked urself and have nothing to give out. Some people in the church are vocal analysts for me than 1 reason. But in a bad way. I.E. maybe they just love a good singer and are pointing out Karen then and Karen now. And outside of that some are choir directors, or pianist, organist. Music teachers or maybe just spectators. So everybody had an opinion. I'm sure that's fine. Even if someone is being nasty. It's OK. Karen still sings and have made me accomplishments than any other vocalist in any genre of music. What singer you know who's a beast didn't steal or borrow, listen to admire or learn from the clark sisters vocals and harmonies etc. Their musicianship is second to none and that's forever and amen 😂

You are absolutely right. I really worry for Karen and Dorinda. Twinkle's voice is still in recovery mode. However, they need to take care of themselves. You only have one voice. They are diversifying, into radio, and acting, but Karew entertainment's revenues comes from record sales and this applies to Dorinda, who is signed to a separate record label for her solo projects. Perhaps there's nothing to worry about, and they are aware. Let's hope, and pray.

@@scorpion787x8 Twinkie voice in this life will never be the same. Only when the master comes back for “us” is when she will be completely restored vocally But the car accident that happen in the early 2000s and the two strokes she has had in the past has really take a tow on your vocal ability. The only thing I can think of is if she sets up a appointment with a voice doctor to see if some sort restorative treatment could be applied to her voice. But the Clark’s as amazing as they are I just wonder how they would take criticism. One thing about the church is that they will work u to the grave. So it’s hard for me to believe they have ever completely understood vocal rest. If I was a gospel singer I could never allow myself to be over worked

Karen needs a 6 months vocal rest. Where she doesn't sing speaks lightly for a while. She's in her 60s and she is vocally tired because she sings none stop at concerts church conventions Sunday mornings. All the time where does the rest apply too? As we get older our body and vice shifts. She needs to rest and whoever her vocal coaches and doctors they should be expressing that to her. Before she ends up vocally straning herself. She's extra tired with her new obligations with the COGIC. Plus she does things with the Clark's sisters yes she is in serious need of a vocal rest.
