Fam!! Kard is one of the only other groups I stan besides BTS and I don't stan easily. Dumb Litty came about because the company wanted to give them a song and they weren't feeling it. BM (the taller man) was like um I do write and produce let me try. They have the whole process documented on their channel. Since Dumb Litty did well they let him help produce Red Moon. Him and J. Seph (second guy) always helped write before. Somin had black hair in Red Moon and a pinkish color in Dumb Litty and Jiwoo had white and black hair in Red Moon and white hair in Dumb Litty. You should check out their entire new album!

I'm in the same boat, I only really follow 3 groups and Kard is one of them.

KARD are unlike any other Kpop group out there. They do their own thing. KARD tour a lot and they're amazing live.

Kard is that group and ppl be sleeping on them. You should react to the new mini album red moon the whole thing is so good

YEEEESSSSS!! I really like KARD. They come from a small company and also participate on the production and writing process of their songs. I went to one of their concerts last year and I couldn't help but fall in love. They're so fun and full of energy, with a huge stage presence and they definitely know how make the audience part of the show. They also did the sweetest thing ever, I'm from Brazil and as a gift for their brazilian fans they've learned a entire song in portuguese. And I know they did to every country they went to. I mean, how many artists do that?? Anyways, they are amazing people and super talented artists who definitely deserve more love and appreciation. If anyone it's interested go listen to their albums, they're short it won't take much of your time and KARD's b-sides are really good

I'm so glad you reacted to KARD. This company wanted to try something different, and the members are, the girls...Somin (the one with the dark hair) and Jiwoo (blonde). The guys, J. Seph (the slightly shorter one with dark hair) and B.M. or Big Matthew. All of them except BM is from Korea. BM however was born and raised in Riverside, California. He is also the one who created the beats to both of these songs. He also trended a couple months back when he did an interview and spoke about several idols in Korea (all male, including himself) that are part of club "Big Titty Committee" or he says that a lot of idols have "Big Man Titties"...you can actually look it up, it hilarious. As for their music, they debuted in July of 2017...try their songs, "Hola Hola", "You and Me" and my favorite "Don't Recall". They don't have a broad fanbase in Korea. Some say because their sound is too western, however their international fanbase is rather large. Their fans are called Hidden KARDS. Each member of the group represents a card in the deck, J. Seph is the Ace, BM is the King, Somin is the Black Joker and Jiwoo is the Red Joker. Do yourselves a favor, check out these other videos, they won't disappoint. Promise!

KARD is the first and only coed kpop group. Very unique, and they made it work. Aside from being an army, I'm appreciating this group more than the other groups.

"First and only" is factually incorrect even if you want to argue that other still existing coed groups don't count because they aren't strictly kpop. Kard debuted in 2016. For the mainstream stream (when I say mainstream I mean the general korean public, not the kpop buying listening public) the most famous Coed group is probably Roo'ra a hip hop/dance, and reggae/funk pop group that was popular from 1994-2001. Lee Sang-min, Roo'ra's man rapper is a legend in general in the Korean Music Scene. (Also a Legend in the Korean Variety scene, partly for his infamy for going heavily into debt, and declaring bankruptcy. Debuting at the same TIme "Cool" is still currently active, they just aren't as popular as their heydey due to age and not being as bright and shiny as the newer groups. Probably the most popular and publicly known is the R&B/Urban/Ballad group under MakeUs Entertainment "Urban Zakapa" who debuted in 2009. (their popularity partly stems from Soundtrack OSTs and Ballads, the general Korean public loves ballads) In 2010, Core Contents Media (CCM) debuted Coed School, which eventually divided into 2 sub-units F-ve Dolls(Girls) , and Speed(Boys) (Speed's Sungmin's younger sister is IZONE's Choi Yena) I can understand why you might not count Roo'ra, as they were more strictly dance music *then*, but are definitely included within Kpop *now*, but Cool, and Coed School definitely count. I can understand that you might not want to count groups that have disbanded, but Cool is still together and still releasing music as is Urban Zakapa.

Sorry but they are not the first or only coed kpop group. That being said, KARD definitely seems to be the most successful of coed Kpop, I'm pretty sure they have already lasted longer than most in the past did. Hope they continue to grow in popularity, they definitely deserve to be appreciated more :)

We would have to come up with some agreed upon definition and scale of "success" to measure against. This is one of those mental exercises and minefield rife with cognitive bias.

@@fluffydeath9252 sorry I didn't see your reply to the original comment that went into such detail about other coed groups, for some reason it didn't show up on my phone lol. saying KARD was most successful wasn't based on numbers or anything but based on the fact that if you ask most Kpop fans nowadays I don't think they would know of other coed groups. I'm sorry I admit I worded it badly. I have been a fan of other coed groups but have not really seen any of them acknowledged in mainstream spaces (by this I mostly mean online spaces such as KZread, twitter, etc) in the way that KARD is, although the internet is a large place so maybe I just need to look harder to find fellow fans of other coed groups lol.

​@@Sharkbait_ontherocks I think that's why I tried to also make the distinction between public, knowledge, kpop fan knowledge, korean knowledge and international knowledge. Kard's success is on a largely international kpop fan platform. Taking into account the Korean General public. Urban Zakapa would be who I would say is more "successful" even if they are not internationally "famous" Sales data would seem to almost perfectly back this up.

I doubt you'd be disappointed with any Kard track. They're extremely underrated.

Sorry it took me so long to request KARD! I love this group. They are SO slept on in Korea because they don’t really vibe with the co-ed concept but they are gathering a big following with international fans. Hoping locals can start to see how talented they are. I fell in love with their reggae vibes and they just continue to impress me. Plus the fact that they participate in their music creation...always bonus points from me. Hidden KARDs I’ll definitely be using my personal requests to get more reactions for us!

Love Kard! They're one of the few kpop groups I like besides BTS and Day6. I will say Red Moon wasn't my favorite though. Just my own personal taste, but it sounded just eh to me. But Dumb Litty was such a killer song, I put it on to jam out to all the time. I highly recommend listing to some of their older stuff too, because they have some really awesome music!
