Same part in mine split after 3 uses, no parts available in Canada... Thanks Karcher!

It will only split like that if you keep it in a frosty shed. Always remove the pressure hose and drain as much water as you can at end of season.

Again excellent video- I suspect this is what has happened with mine as its Pouring water inside and motor wont shut down- it has some pressure but not full.

just search for the part as described in the video, make sure that you use your exact model ID.

Hi Gary, thanks for the kind comment. On the split part, there was a part number. I then used google to search for the part. My part came from the UK.

Finally I have fixed my K7, I opened the cover and found that the cylinder head recoil tube was broken, no more leaking after the part replacement. 🎉🎉🎉

How do you remove the black handle which is covering the screws?

Hi Catherine, the black handle does not cover any screws on my Karcher? The handle is attached to one half of the clamshell body.
