I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

@@DKNY707 This machine uses the quick connect system so yes, you can disconnect the hose from both the lance and machine. At the machine end it’s simply a case of pushing the black collar back on the quick connect adapter (attached to the machine) and then pulling the hose out from the machine. At the lance end, push down the yellow button whilst also pulling the hose down and away from lance itself. Should be easy to do and not require much force at all. Reconnection is simpler (as shown in this video) hope this helps 🙂

Have this model and in my opinion is a bullet proof machine. Washed cars to buses, all around the yard. Got some abuse from falling and reversed over by car.

Just purchased this from Wickes, but it’s a discontinued model! Gutted. Hopefully it’s more rugged than it’s successor - like you often find with profit driven businesses marketing cheaper units as “new and improved”. Time will tell.

Yes it's a discontinued model. Karcher UK, Website advertises the K5 Premium and K5 Compact. It is still available on some sites though!

I bought my K5 Premium the same as this, out of B&Q like 5yrs ago, and havent used it too often. But the dirt blaster failed a few week ago. The ball-bearing stopped oscillating and it just puts out a single jet. Also the detergent dispenser has never worled from. The day and hour i bought it. 😑

Get a pin in the ball bearing and wiggle it, they should be pretty much indestructible 👍

Remove the Lance and spray without it. The detergent should dispense!

i have this model, worked great, then a week ago i took it apart to clean. now when i try to reassemble it the hose does not "click" into the hose retention clip. thus the water leaks out at that point. any ideas why the hose will not "click" to lock in?
