Maybe bcoz of the pressure switch not functioning anymore.. Should stop when you release the lever..

Is the K2 safe to use for washing your car? Reason I am asking is that many years ago I used a home pressure washer to give my car a clean - and ended up removing a considerable patch of paint in the process! Would like to know if anyone has used their K2 for car washing - and whether or not it caused any damage? TIA.

Yes sir, k2 is safe to use for car washing.. I've been using it for almost 3years now.. Just dont over use it..

My fittings don't look anything like yours, you have a connector that looks like it would fit any size hosepipe, mine comes with a small connector that will only fit a 5/8" pipe, my hosepipe is only 1/2" diameter, looks like mine was only made for the U.S. and not the UK.
