Very good tutorial. Calm, measured voice, good explanation and easy to follow assembly guidance. Great tips shown throughout the piece. My God how nice to have a good clean comprehensive video on a product. With language that's music to my ears and an intelligent person ( protect your eyes, yes! ). Just a professional non- commercial video that correctly depicts all uses of the product. Bravo!

You can also clean your bird bath too later ! I get carried away and clean everything in sight ! 😂

A gentleman explaining tech! Your voice was very reassuring and video was well thought out. Just a suggestion. Pls mention the attachment specifications such as input tube size and any converter/attachment needed.

My husband I purchased one of these. It is now MINE I love it, I have chronic arthritis and cleaning is difficult to say the least. I am unable to clean the exterior of the house or the driveway in a day, however that is simply because my body fails me. This cleaner however does not. I have cleaned part of the front of the house, the mail box, and part of the driveway I haven’t touched the universal cleaner yet as I simply haven’t needed to. I am going to be using it again today for the third day in a row, I am looking around the exterior of the house and in my head adding it to my list of things I am cleaning next! I love it, it is incredibly light and so easy to put together and use I would recommend it to anyone and everyone

Wish I had seen this before I put mine together yesterday ! The instructions tell you how to get started but I couldn’t see how to use the extension pole or the circulating thingy. Might have saved my back. Anyway, will keep this. Thank you.

Just got the karcher 2 myself. I wasn't expecting much but like you I was astounded how good it was. My patio is like new! I've not used the patio attachment yet, I didn't think it would be worth it. I thought the spray wand did such a good job but after seeing you use it and how good it was I'll definately use it next time.

I had the original Karcher which I purchased around 20 years ago and only last year replaced it with the K4. I have tried other makes but personally I swear by Karcher for pressure washers around the home. I am sure that the more industrial types are superior but at the price I would not invest when the Karcher does the job that I need. Thank you Peter for showing your experience and I agree the detergent is not worth the extra it costs.

Within a few days after seeing this video I searched out and bought one of these instruments. I live in a very large home near Atlanta, GA, USA; and we "pressure cleaned" the entire house. It is every thing Peter said it was. I have no leaks. The handle did not stay up after it was installed. Also, the "Dirt Blaster" wand failed quickly. I called Karcher and they had a new one here in less than 5 days. It works like a charm. I did not tell them about the handle, because I simply forgot about it. But I am going to call them and have them ship me a new one. I am sure they will. One word of caution. I only had a 5/8", 100" hose from my spigot; on a large part of my house; after using a 50' on it where I could reach. There was a noticeable reduction in the strength of the spray when pressure washing; for whatever it's worth. But it was NOT weak enough to keep us from using it to clean our home; albeit a slower time. Next time I will buy a 3/4" , 100' hose. I am sure that will help immeasurably when it comes to pressure. Thank you Peter for demonstrating this amazing device. We love it! And you too dear person.

I managed to assemble the Karcher and then watched the video which was excellent. The only thing I found hard was trying to push in the attachments. I have just used it and the T-bar was really good. I purchased this from B@Q, it was £90 and received the 10% off on Wednesdays, costing me £81. Really pleased with my purchase.

I concur. It's also been my experience that these "detergents" are rubbish and just plain water will do the job just as well as using these unneeded detergents.

a word of advice peter, make sure the washer is stored well in winter, a very hard frost of minus 3 or 4 will ruin the pump if it has residual water in it when put away. because of the plastic parts in it,even inside a garage if it gets down lower than that, ive lost more than one pressure washer like that, i now store it inside a cupboard in my garage with an old blanket round it. commercial machines have metal in their pumps and are not as susceptible.

The snow foam attachment and auto glym polar blast snow foam works wonders with the K2! Fill to the first line from the bottom and top up with water, run it with the foam at full, leave for 10 minutes and go over the car with a sponge or mitt, then rinse. Just bought the surface cleaner which led me here, now I have a plan, thank you!

don't get the lance that close to your paint it will damage it over time.

I’m an Aussie and have owned and used a Karcher for years. Our patio cleaners come with a hard bristle “skirt” around the bottom so you don’t get that harsh plastic against concrete scraping sound. The skirt also protects the user from debris that may be kicked up by the cleaner. Karcher also make a foam cannon, which really amplifies the cleaning power of the detergent. Great little unit though. I wouldn’t be without one now, especially during the pandemic when you don’t know who has handled the car wash guns and brushes at a commercial car wash.

Thank you so much for sharing this superb video. As someone said, you have a natural presentation style. Well edited too! I also appreciate your honesty.....quite a rare attribute these days! I have a 10-15yr old JCB but I can't buy a 'rotating nozzle patio cleaning head' to fit as every manufacturer, stupidly, has not standardised. I've just ordered an adaptor which might just work (if I'm lucky) and now that I've seen your video I'm even more desperate to obtain one of these rotary cleaning heads. If that fails I'm encouraged that the model you demonstrated will be adequate for my needs which helps to clear the fog of Karcher model proliferation. NoAxe

The best video of this type i've seen, far better than the woefully inadequate instructions provided by Karcher, and that bloke is a star, relaxed, informative and to the point, he should be on the telly but he's probably what they would call male, pale and stale in modern terms, far better to give the job to a 20 year old girl with a media degree and utterly no idea what she's doing

I've just bought this same model and used it today on my patio which hasn't been cleaned for 20 years and I couldn't believe the results. Just like in this video. I'm looking forward to finishing the job tomorrow and I do recommend wearing wellington boots because I soaked the bottom of my trousers and my socks. A high quality, typically English review. My only slight surprise was the BMW. I was expecting a Rover with lots of polished chrome.

We have been using our Karcher for years now and have bought one from my mum too who loves it, although her neighbors think she is a fanatic clean freak because her house and yard is always clean. But I realised that we only use the nozzle and not the patio cleaner gadget! that would cut out so much time. Thank you 🙏 for your video, really appreciate it. And I am not sure if this is a good thing, but I just fill up the washer nozzle with a mixture of dish soap and water or my patio and windows!

I've actually borrowed a Karcher K2 from a friend to clean my patio and paths (45+ sq metres in total) and I must say I'm quite impressed. I'd seen various reviews on Amazon, some of them not good, but it seems to do the job nicely for me. Borrowing one has certainly got me thinking of buying my own. About 10 years ago I did buy a smaller Karcher model. But not knowing anything much about pressure washers I was sure it would be ok. Sadly though I found it very lacking in power as the jet of water was thinner than a pencil. It would have taken 10 minutes to clean one paving slab. The K2 is MUCH better, having the power you'd expect to tackle garden dirt and grime.

Well thank you Sir! As many others have commented.. What a great descriptive video.. I think it's fair to say that we assume that the newest model of anything is the best. But the K2 does the trick nicely! No doubt cheaper than the latest model I would think!

the dvorak played by the cello is a nice touch....move the wand slower for better cleaning...dont forget to do the bottom of the house where the concrete joins....theres green mold there

I need your email address. KZread no longer has a private messaging service and so in order to get in touch you need to place a comment on this video with your email address. The KZread software should identify and send it to the spam folder for The New Brit Workshop. Nobody will be able to see your email address except me. I will then send you a message by email and delete your comment so that it does not end up in the public domain. Were we to do this the other way around then my comment, with my email address, would appear for all the world to see. Peter

Hello Peter Parford, may i congratulate you on a very well constructed and informative video.I have very similar stone work around the house and you show quite clearly and effortlessly how easily it is to firstly to set up the equipment and then carry out the tasks with minimum effort. Fantastic job keep up the great work. Karcher you should be proud of this man !
