Karate-Kickboxing training by Buster Reeves

Спорт

Buster started training at the tender age of eleven in traditional Wado Ryu karate and moved into freestyle, a move which would map out his life for the better. Under the guidance of his Instructors he claimed the British junior title and a place in the "Guinness Book of Records" for the most kicks done at head height in a minute (218, later shattering it to complete 256) at age thirteen, the fighting title he held up to the change to senior level at sixteen and he still holds the Guinness record.

Old school karate kick boxing training. Speed, stamima, power, accuracy. Those junping kicks are hard as hell. Perfect conditioning

I am currently working for Buster as his stunt supervisor. He is still as fit as a fiddle and a total gent. Rarely do you find someone as talented as him with such a nice attitude. I can say without doubt. THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE.

I totally get the hit conditioning similar to Okinawan styles but @7:36 stomping the shoulder joint area doesn’t look intelligent nor beneficial. Bag punch combos look fast but not devastating like his kicks. Good stuff! Enjoyed viewing.

unnecessary flying kicks that he will never use in his life against an opponent in a real fight, but looks great on TV, well he could use it in a movie.

dale lee True but I HAVE NO DOUBT HE HAS GOOD BASIC DESTRUCTIVE THAI BOXING KICKS IN HIS ARSENAL WHICH HE WOULD USE IN A REAL FIGHT AND THE FANCY ACROBATIC KICKS HAVE GIVEN HIM GREAT COORDINATION AND MIND IN HIS LEGS. LIKE A LOT OF REALLY GOOD KICKERS IT IS HIS PUNCHING ABILITY THAT IS NOT UP TO SCRATCH AND CERTAINLY NOT UP TO HIS PERSONAL POTENTIAL AGAIN AS YOU POINTED OUT THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH thai boxers who tend to be ballanced upstairs and downstairs where kick boxers are great with the leg skills but lack in punching ability.

Hugo Moreira Who are you having a go at dale lee or me or both? Personally I think the skill development from doing the acrobatic kicks is huge even if you don't use them in a real fight.
