As a 39-year-old parent and full-time student and employee, I understand the challenges of finding time to train in a traditional dojo. I am grateful to have found this channel, as it allows me to train in the comfort of my own home. I am a highly motivated individual when it comes to learning self-defense, especially in these uncertain times.

Basics are so important. It can be considered that basics are the start of mastery....when one can hone the fundamentals. The reason is because if someone has not got good basics they wont move well later on with advanced material. Great video !👍

I chose to wield the knifehand instead of the fist, but I found myself lacking in technique. I decided to look up a style that uses the knifehand and I found that karate uses it (although not so much). So here I am, learning techniques from you.

I just finished lesson 1 and it was great. I already know some kick boxing but i wanted to learn a martial art where strength isnt behind every move since im not muscular or anything. I especially want to learn karate so I can protect others, like right now someone at my church is being stalked. Usually I cant really do anything do too my short and kinda skinny physique, its getting annoying and i want to be able to protect those who cant protect themselves. Anyway sorry for yapping but i feel like these videos/lessons of yours will help me do that.
