True 😂 I don't watch Evangelion and I know the song. The same thing goes to Hikari E from One Piece, Sasageyo (??) from AoT. And maybe some songs from Samurai X and Inuyasha, but i can't put my finger on it...

It sounds like a very generic melodramatic intro for an avarage anime series of its time and is highly unfitting for the tone of NGE... Yet works perfectly as a mockery of traditional mecha and its fans (basic concept on which EVA was built).

I think it's for the sound of the english. My first language is Spanish and it's so easy, but the english have more "r" and in the Japanese that sound doesn't exist, it's like say "L" I think it's for somethings like that

I think you misunderstood me, I don't struggle with the pronunciation. I know the R sounds like a very soft R which is closer to an L sound. I struggle with the song being so fast. And if I knew the meaning of the words it would be easier to remember the lyrics. But as it is now I sometimes mix up my sounds. This can also be an issue in one's mother tongue.

For the ones who can't sign this so well. A important poitn: In the japanese the "r" (ar) doesn't exist as sound, the "r" pronounce as "L". So when you sing this or any other japanese song, remember that "R" is "L" (for example: Zankoku na tenshi no te-ze, Mabode ka *r*a (it's ka *l* a) yagate tobitatsu...) And if you wonder, my first language is Spanish xD

ra ri ru re ro so the R does exist in japanesse. the only difference is that "L" and "R" are not harsh like in english. when you pronounce the word "R" the tongue does not curl for Japanese which is why so many Japanese have a hard time pronouncing some of the harsher R words. try pronouncing "L" and "R" notice how much your mouth moves to make the sound, now try pronouncing ra ri[ree] ru re ro.

So "Sora" is pronunced "sola" but why is Naruto Shippuden OP Blue Bird in section "Aoi aoi ano sora" I hear sora is pronunced "Sora",can you explain for me?

@@dsi2035 Try doing R and L at the same time. It's not a complete L, but's more similar than R. So "SoRLa" It's most similar to someone who rolls their Rs, except only for a second.

Still I wish we had one with the English translations of the lyrics! Though they do vary...

I've noticed there's a few little quirks to reading romanized Japanese that can catch you off guard. For example, an N in the middle of a word is often treated as its own syllable. The "I" on the end of a word is always a seperate syllable even if preceded by a vowel. The letter U is often silent. etc etc. I'm no expert, this is just what I've picked up listening to Japanese songs and dialogue from anime. I have no doubt that I've got a lot of it wrong haha.

si pero la parte que esta en español esta mal lol se supone que es para karaoke el traspaso de japones (kanji-romanji ) a español esta mal realizado y eso son errores ortograficos ,ignorante si claro era traductor japones - español a mis 15 años (ahora trabajo con japoneses asi que se lo que digo n-n ) y si esta es otra cuenta mia lol

favio pedreros Entiendo, pero no es una traducción, se llama conversión o romanización, y tal vez sepas japonés, pero el español te falla mucho, empezando por todas tus faltas ortográficas y esos conceptos que no están claros -_-

si es por las comas es un error ortografico para ti , soy chileno y estoy escribiendo en youtube no una carta formal [ me refiero la conversion es erronea , lo cual igual se considera error ortografico Y OTRO DETALLE la conversion a romanjisacion(no estoy seguro si se escribe asi XD ) igual es una forma de facilitar a los de otras lenguas a entender por lo cual simplifica el japones igual es un metodo de traducir algo lol ]
