How am I now just seeing this??? Goodness I'm so late lol. This is just amazing!! I can't express enough how much I love this. Great song choice and very fitting! I love the parallels in this especially @ 0:35-0:46, 1:53-2:17 and 2:44-3:03...brilliantly done!! Honestly this should get WAYY more views, likes and comments because this was nothing short of perfection. Absolutely beautiful and you managed to sell Kara & Lena's story in such a profound way. The way the writers somehow created a compelling love story w/ a deep soulmate connection between these two characters and YET hasn't capitalized on it is truly something else lmao. Honestly Kara/Lena makes the most sense for so many reasons. Their story literally writes itself and the potential is astronomical. More importantly, they have been through so much together and seen each other at their best and worst. They have supported each other, believed in each other yet challenged each other through the good and bad times. When Kara told James back in 1x06 about who she was looking for in a partner..."Someone who knows everything about me; my perfect partner at a game night...", Lena is THAT person only she probably doesn't realize it yet. Lena has gotten to know Kara as Kara Danvers, the reporter and supportive best friend; as Supergirl, National City's hero and her rival/ally; and now she has a chance to know her as Kara Zor-El, the last daughter of Krypton. So true! Ironically enough, Kara had more of a reaction to James' secret identity as Guardian than Lena did. This is why I never bought Lames as a couple back then because the connection wasn't there and not nearly as significant as the bond between Kara & Lena and even Kara & James (whether platonically or more regarding the former and latter). We can also say that when Andrea betrayed Lena, she was upset and hurt but she cut her out of her life and moved on (and they were friends since boarding school although it seems like they might make amends) YET for some reason when Kara betrayed her, she was absolutely devastated and furious. It was an emotional wound on a deeper level for Lena and yet she couldn't cut Kara out of her life completely or hate her as much as she tried because deep down she still loves her.

The pain in Kara's voice when she asked if she was going to try and kill her. Lena needed to have a heart of stone not to breakdown after seeing how hurt Kara was.

I had this thought the other day: please, PLEASE DC/WB/CW/Berlanti, *promise* me you won't try to finish shooting this, the final season, before everyone is vaccinated against COVID.
