I hope you're right!

Season 6 was as close as we were going to get. The writers did everything in their power to send us all the hints even though they weren't aloud to make it openly Canon. All of season 6 was Lena coming to terms to who she truly is and what matters to her. They used Lena excepting her magic as a metaphor for her feelings about Kara. It's no accident that as Lena became more open with her magic, she grew closer to Kara. It's also no mistake that Lena told Kara she finally felt free because she accepted herself for all that she is, she didn't use the word magic in that final scene, the writers did that on purpose. Season 6 was also Lena helping Kara come to terms with who she is as well. Lena was by Kara's side the whole time she was questioning herself and trying to find herself and in that final scene Lena said to Kara if she accepts herself and all that she is, Lena will be there for her. That's as close as we are going to get to the direct words of if you choose me, I choose you too

This is by far the best edit I’ve seen of Supergirl and Lena. It just has so much emotion- I’m in tears

This is just amazing! Great song choice and very fitting. I love the parallels in this, especially at the end @ 2:12-2:31. It just shows the difference and contrast between a relationship strictly based on friendship and a relationship that is more than just friendship. This is once again one of the MANY parallels between Clark/Lois and Kara/Lena. Like Clark/Lois, Kara/Lena have SHOWN many times that they are incapable of sacrificing the other. If Alex, who is Kara's SISTER was even able to make that choice, even though it was painful, because she has the mentality of a soldier, but Lena COULDN'T...what does that say? Out of all Kara's friends, Lena is the ONLY one who was kept in the dark about her identity. It's a common trope w/ the Superheroes and their established love interests. Hell Kara/Lena even parallels Shinichi/Ran from Detective Conan (the pairing in my profile picture) because of this secret identity trope, YEARS of slow-burn and much more. In fact I would say Lena is like a cross between Ran and Ai (the former b/c she's not a typical "damsel in distress" but a strong character in her own right. Both Lena and Ran have experience in martial arts: Lena in fencing and Ran in karate; the latter b/c like Ai, Lena is a scientific genius whose on the level of intellect w/ the main character). Like Kara, Shinichi also uses glasses as a disguise to cover his identity and kept his identity from Ran, his best friend he's been in love w/ for years, for fear of his enemies targeting her. Sounds familiar? Supercorp is a love story and the writers can't convince us otherwise.

@@chloe.t9693 Yeah I've heard Deckerstar (I think that's their shipname). I haven't watched the show, Lucifer (yet), but I heard about it. I should definitely watch then! So Deckerstar has the whole secret identity trope and slow-burn as well? *insert Kara's expression from 2x20* Intriguing. 🤓

Videos like this are good for the heart. Btw 1:12 - 1:48 Alex knows...

I feel like "perfect" isn't a strong enough word to describe this... but god I LOVE IT! 😍😍

oh gosh your edit is so neat. every scene is perfectly timed and with the song, it's just beautiful🥺 as of supercorp, no one fight for them as much as they did for each other!! lena loves kara even when she didn't know kara's super, and kara loves lena despite her being a luthor💙 they're just meant to be and if cw won't make them happen at least we'll always have them through fics and edits

you mean with all of that and yet they are not a thing. they cared so much about each other its not a friend thing its more than that its too obvious and if you are willing to sacrifice your life for a person its because you love her. dont tell me otherwise.

People can sacrifice their lives for people they love even if it is not a romantic love. I love my bestfriend and I would die for her, but it doesn't mean I love her romantically. Romance is not the only type of love that is deep and unconditional. I have no problem either if Supercorp is endgame.

As they say if Kara and Lena ain't a item their so close to being a couple it ain't funny..
