Thanks for the review. Saw this at Manor today. I definitely noticed that the strap buckle thing doesn't stay in place.

Thanks for your review! About the straps ripping, did you try to contact the customer service? You should have a 24-months guarantee and you could make a "Reklamation"

Hiya! Thanks for the feedback, I did think about doing that but unfortunately the guarantee was already up and the guarantee also doesn’t cover ‘Gebrauchsfehler’ :(

Thanks for the review. I am planning to buy this bag, but the strap metal is indeed my concern and the position of it. I plan to use it also as a laptop bag and it will be heavy. I think i will look further.

How’s your straps holding up because I’m looking for a bag for the next 2 years of college and I don’t wanna pay for it to rip

Hey Sophie! Tbh it’s torn even more. I’m not really sure what to do about it ... I have had my backpack for nearly two years so it might hold up for your time in college. Kapten and Son does have other designs though that look a lot more sturdy and might be better. Let me know what you go for :)

Hey thank you so much for your Review, it really helped me a lot in deciding wheter to get it or not. I have a few Questions though: Is it Waterproof? and could you fit a 13'' Macbook air inside it? Also im planning a little Roadtrip on the End of June, do you think i could stuff my clothes etc inside? Greetings from Switzerland :)

Hi, that‘s awesome, I‘m happy I could help! It‘s not waterproof necessarily - the faux leather part is, but the canvas isn‘t. You can fit a 13‘‘ Macbook in, it‘s a little snug but it fits. 😂 yeah, it should work well for the Roadtrip, you could pack maybe 4 days worth of clothes. Greeting from Switzerland too 🌸🇨🇭

Hi from Geneva! I am looking at buying a Bergen rucksack and your review is really helpful. I was wondering if your seams have ripped yet or do you think it's still sturdy? I'll probably take my macbook air and ipad pro with me to uni and it obviously wouldn't be great if the straps will rip...

Hiya! Sorry about the late response. To be honest I wouldn’t recommend this rucksack for uni, it’s just not sturdy enough … I hope your studies are going well! :)

Is it worth the money? I am looking to invest in a bag and this company caught my eye, but I want to buy a bag for 2-3 years not for a quick fashion moment, do you think it would last and is worth the investment? Thank you for review! 🥰

The product itself is really good quality. If you’re not planning on carrying too much heavy stuff. One brand I’ve been loving and that has great new, sturdy rucksacks is the north face. 😊

Would you use it to go on a hike with this bag ? A day tour ?

Hiking - not necessarily, I feel like the metal adjustable things would dig in ... But for a day trip around a city (like sightseeing) I think it would be ideal. It‘s big enough that you could take a picnic with you :)

Hi Eliza! As I mentioned in the video, my straps started to tear when I put heavy books in the backpack, but I’m not sure if I just got a faulty one. It definitely has enough space to use for college :) yeah, I love the design of it - super sleek and classy!

How long have u used the backpack, since the straps are ripping?

I got it last October and have been using it daily since. I noticed the ripping maybe three months into using it ...

Hi Jaimy! It took about two weeks to arrive - but I do live in Switzerland ... depending on where you live it might arrive sooner.

I just purchased mine and I live in austria and now I'm kinda scared that it won't be here till school starts (September 11) :(

Hey, I'd like to ask you if you can recommend this rucksack. I am also thinking of buying it for school but in the video she said that it ripped when she put heavy stuff in there which if obviously not good if I'm putting all the school materials in there😅
