Job placement depends on your effort and hard work After 12th if you are intrest in deck department you can study 1.)Bsc nautical science 2.) DNS If you are interested in engine department 1.) BE Marine engineering 2.) BTech marine engineering Prepare well for your IMU CET entrance exam and try to get scholarship from shipping companies before joining DG Approved college If you are not get scholarship then choose the college wisely and try to get placement before joining the college make sure that college is DG APPROVED COLLEGE Or not But make sure you are having 60% above with PCM Marks and 50% above in English subject If you are below in this two percentage then don't join merchant Navy do some other course

U can do CCMC (Certificate Course in Maritime Catering) bro.. it’s 6 months duration.. try in maritime colleges.. initially u will go as General steward rank then later u will get promoted as chief cook
