Funny, I couldn’t and still can’t quite get in to Knocked Loose after all these years. Recently someone suggested them to me since their new album came out and still meh. I countered with Kaonashi.

I felt like the bass really came through well for this set. It helps that the guitar tone was rolled off nicely on the low end before it even hit my mixing

Man I respect all of you for somehow getting into this band. A band I can confidentially say will never grow on me. I never understood the knocked loose hate for his vocals but this one I totally get the hate for. But hey man that’s what makes music so great. People love it

FIRE I JUST NUTTED

Instrumentally, amazing. Vocally? A bit abrasive and hard to listen to (my opinion) which almost never happens since I've been listening to screams for at least 15 years. Is it just me? Ill keep givin them a shot since it might be an acquired taste.

No, it's not just you and that's totally ok. A lot of people don't enjoy this band becuz of Peter's vocals. It's unique and it works so well with their song structures.

I heard one or two songs and though "WTF". That was around about a year ago and I now cant go a 24 hour day without blasting Koanashi into my veins. Give it some time, something may click.

I showed this to my girl who one of her favourite groups is la dispute, and she didn't like kaonashi at all, she kinda hated it. but I lowkey kinda dig it, simply because it's unconventional. it's fun, it doesn't have to sound good to be enjoyed. kinda like icejjfish. or say... Tommy wiseau's The Room
