Kaohsiung 5G Exhibition Race 2nd Place 🥈🥈🥈 亞灣5G無人機大戰

On Saturday I traveled down to Kaohsiung, Taiwan for an exhibition race. This race was unique in that it was a spec race where we had to use a 260mm frame provided by them, as well as fly both during the day and night time. For the finals we had to strap a 5G Livestream module on top which made our 650g drones probably close to 950g and stressed our batteries to the limit.

@@BMSWEB Next race is January 8th! Back to 5inch quads. Things are doing much better in Taiwan, we got vaccines again and it's pretty relaxed. Nothing on Omicron front so far so we'll see how that goes. Prior to the race above I went about 9 months without a race due to Covid. Super rusty! How are things for you? I saw restrictions are relaxed now.

@@FoxurFPV We had a good run at the beginning of the year where life was pretty much back to normal and then we got caught out with Delta. I think we got about 3 or 4 races in and then went into lockdown again. Only a few weeks ago we had our first offical race. At that particular club we did Race 1 of the season and then race 5. Our vaccination rates are pretty high now, so fingers crossed we can stay open. Omicron has hit Australia, just hoping it doesn't change things. December will be a break from racing and we start back again in Jan :D

請問5G的設備用來做什麼? 據我所知他們原本的計畫是要用5G來遙控無人機

這次5G是用來直播給觀眾看，現場有大螢幕。我們操控還是用平常的搖控。
聽說比賽機好像是一次性的...請問前輩是嗎？

這次比賽的機架是主辦方提供的，其他比赛不會用到的。
