it's actually quite awesome seeing him talk this way about music, it really speaks volumes on how much he loves music and working on his craft (what with the "drum practice" thing on one of his albums and that being his weakness)

Good stuff !

Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds are incredible in this space. The morning show is a yawner, but when they are allowed to sit down, and really be themselves, and ask the questions they actually want to hear the answers to, many of these interviews are historical and unforgettable.

What is it about Michael Jackson that literally turns every grown man/woman into a kid? Seriously whether it is the fears Kanya west, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Akon, Oprah, Diddy, Chris Brown...even James Brown and Sammy Davis Junior who were his idols... why does everyone gets super excited and humbled all of a sudden when asked about Michael Jackson?!!! Well like the wise man once said there is a celebrity➡️a Star➡️a Superstar➡️ a Megastar➡️ A Legend ➡️ And there is Michael Jackson. This is why all Level of celebrities, megastars and legends look up to MJ as a higher and untouchable King! Long Live the KING!!! He was (star struck).. Prince just made it a point, to never let anyone appear to be better than him.. he went to MJ's shows.. was keen to know what he was doing, where and when.. after MJ passed Prince took it hard and even softened his tone about to allegations about MJ, drugs etc.. He, we learned had his own painful stuff going on... Life's a circle ..and yes Prince was on a high level.. He did his height his was..!

great to hear kanye just talk music with other music heads, this convo was amazing to hear.

THE best Kanye West interview ever conducted. Clears up some myth surrounding him and Dilla and other people, let's us know he's still his usual self despite all the idiots in media vilifying him and is overall entertaining.

If everyone hadn't hyped him up and then beat him down with everything negative, Kanye could really ass something to the world. Go back and listen to College Dropout. Listen to Family Business. THAT Kanye was happy. IMO, The Kanye we know now, the Kanye Kardashian we know, the fashion genius..... None of that makes that dude happy. They're accomplishments. We all have some in a way of our own. At the end of the day though, Materialistic shit means nothing. Money is awesome to have but, all the shit you can buy will never make you happy. If you've ever had it like that, you'd know. Bring back that Classic Kanye! That Louis Vuitton Don in the kitchen on Dave Chappelle Kanye. That Jesus Walks Kanye.

This one of the BEST interviews I've seen of Kanye ever & it's only 10 min. They bring out the best of him. I just wanna hear about the music, production, and the fantastic stories he has from back in the day. Stuff us real fans care about. On another note, the Yeezus concert was phenomenal. I'm not sure if I've ever witnessed something that inspirational firsthand.

P.S. This is shaping up to be the best Kanye interview in a long time. It's so refreshing hearing him get his hip hop nerd on and get into his history in this music ish. Rather than talking about Taylor Swift and fashion and Kim K. Great job, Rosenberg and Ciph.

Now, this was a great interview. It's nice to hear celebrities talk about music instead of gossip. Kanye is a true genius. Keep em coming. Great job guys! Much props from HTOWN.

In my opinion, one of Kanye's best interviews. Ppl gotta realize that they do it to themselves. If they ask about fashion, he's gonna turn up (rant) (whatever they wanna call it now.) they kept it all in the realm of hip hop and his experience coming up through this game. And that's why he was calm and collect. Shoutsout to Rosenberg and Ciph tho.

I can't lie man this interview is way better then sway and 105.1... its ok to ask him how he been acting lately with the media but it's how you ask him they keep asking him bull shit questions instead of asking him what he accomplish... good job hot 97

***** Nobody is trying to justify anything we just don't give a fuck. They clearly said in the beginning they didn't want to discuss any of his paparazzi or fashion shit. Just music. And that's what people like about the interview. Not everybody gives a fuck about celebrities and their behaviour some people just like and enjoy music and thats what they want to hear about.
