Sometimes I think to myself how much of an impact Kanye has made to the music industry as a whole. Then I think about how drastically different his career would be if his mom never died. No mbdtf, no 808ah, etc. Good ass job would be released and probably be sick as hell but it just wouldnt be the same Kanye as we have now. Its insane how something so bad could have a so good aftermath. Kanye West has truly made history and some of the best albums and songs in the 21st century, but hes also a person. Hes a father, a son, a husband, an ex, a highschool friend, a cousin. His moms death didnt just impact his music career but also his life and the lives of others around him, just like anyones moms death would. A really big question i think about sometimes is, would his music be as good if donda never died, would he be as much of an impact as he is, of course he was huge when donda died but would he ever reach the fame he has now, would he just be any ordinary rapper rapping about sex and money, kanye is a perfect example of "celebreties are people too" since he broadcasts his feelings amd choices to the world through his music. He may be a great musician, he may say some contrevercial things, he may have done stupid things, but he isnt a bad man. He cant be defined for his mistakes, just like anyone else, but he isnt just like everyone else. Would he be like everyone else if donda never died? Would he if he never got into the taylor swift contrvercy? would he if he never spoke his mind about his beliefs? would he if he never experienced heartbreak and grief?
