Kanye West - Ghost Town but it will make you ascend to the fourth dimension
Музыка
This is an edit of Ghost Town to loosely recreate a live version including the Sunday Service Choir. It is edited with Default_Miserable and and he is also the one who created this video. This may be my favourite edit I've been involved in making.

I fell so far these last 6 months. My wife left me for someone else, my friend died, my dog died, I got addicted to blues (Fentanyl).. now I’m back to where I started. I had to remind myself how much God loves me and how favored I am. God bless anyone going through a hard time. It will pass and I can’t say you’ll feel better but you will be stronger and have the strength to over come. I love you all ❤️

I think some people interpret the line "We’re still the kids we used to be" as a self-critique: 'We may think we’re great, but beneath the surface we're all still children', in other words, a reminder to be humble. On the other hand, it can also be interpreted as an affirming reminder of our inherent human value: 'We may struggle to be good; we may feel low, but that purity that was once inside us is still present. We're still the kids we used to be.' I think the way you intuitively read this line says something meaningful about your psyche; for instance, I naturally read it as a self-critique. I feel that, no matter how much I improve, on some level I remain destined to repeat my past mistakes. The only thing that can stop me is humility, and this lyric delivers that to me and helps to ward away my hubris. I think it's possible that this was intentional on Kanye's part, as both interpretations apply to him so well. What I know with certainty is that artists often don't consciously realise the full depth of their art, so I'm sure that Kanye understood both interpretations at least subconsciously.

I always interpreted it as the latter. I've done a lot of stuff that has led me from who I am, but deep down once I break away from it all, I'm still that child from the past.
Oh my god the “I’ve been trying to make you love me but every thing I try just takes you further from me” hit too hard and too deep. God, kanye songs can be so relatable for me.

Before the start of november this year, i never used to listen to kanye west. I despised his ways and him as a person. But after coming across some of his music like runaway and ghost town, it has made me change my views on kanye. The girl of my dreams chose someone else over me, and for a month I was going through depression, and kanyes music helped me go through this tough time. “We’re still the kids we used to be” is seriously one of the best lyrics ever written. It so simply reminds us that no matter what you have gone through or what struggles and trauma god has thrown at you, we’re are still all human. We all bleed and have the same heart that we had before we knew the reality of the world that we live in. We still have the choice to wake up excited about going outside or eating ice cream. It is the little things that we need to appreciate about our lives and about ourselves. Be true to the kid in you, and relax. Enjoy the ride.

this song was playing before gorillas concert and my part of the crowd just started singing along so loud you're right - that lyric has touched a lot of people deeply
I used to play this song and dream of a time where I could take care of my family, and my parents wouldn’t have to struggle anymore. Especially that “someday” line.. and here I am again, years later, having accomplished my goal. I’m at a loss for words but I am grateful to God.
Everytime I hear this, It brings me back to this certain scene in my childhood and I cannot describe how pure it feels. Nothing comes close.

just wanted to comment on this but I found this video in a very dark part of my life, I started listening to kanye west right around the first donda listening party was out. I didn’t listen to his whole discography yet around this time either but I got recommended this at the time and when I heard this I couldn’t stop listening to it. I also listened to the original song, this edit of the song and the original have a soft spot in my heart. it helped me and my brother bond again and I’m thankful I found this a year ago. I’m so thankful for this edit because it’s really beautiful, I also love the echo on the “maybe someday” part.

Kanye is an artist’s artist. Straight up.
The weirdest thing about Kanye is how right he gets things that have no business existing at all. Like the music he makes, or any other artform, at face value is just stupid - but when you actually listen to it, it all makes sense. I feel like what he does can't really be recreated or mimicked since its always out of left field. Guy is undoubtedly crazy but consistently stays a genius.

This is simply phenomenal. 3 years ago, shortly after Ye and Kids See Ghosts was released, I had the biggest heartbreak in my life. This brought plenty of issues that weren't dealt with properly from my past. What followed were 3 years of therapy, anger, shame, guilty, rage, attempt of suicide, alcohol, drugs, all while trying to do a degree with a very low income, in a city far from my family. This album reminds of this period and this remix nearly made me cry, as I listen to it now, 3 years later, I finished my degree with a first class and have secured a stable job as an engineer in the biggest transport company in London. Thank you for this masterpiece, this is surely one of the best I've had the pleasure to listen to. Keep it up. 👏🏻

Kanye's freestyles you can clearly tell when its a freestyle, and when he started that off the script freestyle it just somehow clearly showed he really is in a league of his own not only for being a producer and rapper but just purely being a rapper.
