Kansas vs. BYU 12-25-92 I get knocked out by Brad Clark of BYU

KU vs BYU at the Aloha Bowl in 1992. This was the last catch I made in college and I really thought I would run right over the strong safety from BYU (Brad Clark). Unfortunately, he put a better hit on me, giving me a minor concussion and a partially separated left shoulder. I got up, but I was "out on my feet." I don't really remember much between the hit and getting back to our sideline. I barely knew who I was, but I was able to finish the game.

I was looking for a clip from this game. Glad you put it up, your personal story about it was a neat commentary on the play. I remember watching this game when I was about 9 years old. Pretty cool to see it now at 29. :) -Rick, '05 KU alum
That must have hurt soo bad. I remember a few hits in high school where no one else on the field or in the crowd knows how you felt when you get tagged like that and I tip my hat to you. Definitely walked it off like a man even if you had a concussion haha. I got a concussion in one game where I hit two other players helmets at the same time and I walked over to the other teams huddle hahahah

Well...it wasn't much fun back then. Too negative. I hated football after four years of that. You might be surprised how good Coach Gill's Jayhawks end up being.
