David Kraft, Co-Coordinator for the Kansas Grazing Lands Coalition (KGLC), explains that KGLC is composed of landowners and ranchers throughout Kansas. The coalition's mission is to educate and disseminate knowledge about the state's native grasslands.
These academies cover a range of rangeland topics including plant identification, calculating stocking rates, monitoring vegetation response, estimating forage allocation, and more.
