If you like THE ABSENCE OF PRESENCE, try the new album by a band named PINNACLE POINT, the album is called "Symphony of Mind" and I hear them as being an amazing Kansas-like band, plus their vocalist, Jerome Mazza, sounds shockingly like Steve Walsh (Kansas' main/original vocalist). To make matters even better, Jerome Mazza made an album with Steve Walsh called (BLACK BUTTERFLY)... look for Steve Walsh solo albums: 1. BLACK BUTTERFLY 2. SHADOWMAN (the best solo album by any KANSAS member!!!) 3. GLOSSOLALIA Those three albums are a must for any KANSAS fan! Also look for PINNACLE POINT's debut album called WINDS OF CHANGE! All fantastic albums. Enjoy and support the bands you love... Buy their albums!

To Kansas: THANK YOU!
Kansas 2020 has a great synergy going on with superb writing & musicians performing at virtous levels which would be expected by true Kansas fans. I saw Kansas twice in the 70's & they blew me away- there will always be a special place for Steve Walsh & the band from that era along with Kerry's writings & compositions. This level of performance is rare in todays bands & look foward to see them live! Carry On.! ....

I was a big Kansas fan and never heard SFA until about 7 years ago....man was I missing something and all three of those first albums were great.
Sometimes it takes time for me to develop a like for a song. This has been the case for me on almost all albums. Not this album. So far every song from this album has grasped me by the throat and slapped me upside the head with greatness. All 3 songs so far have been a holy smokes this is fantastic. And a whole bunch of you won't like or agree with me, but the vocals on this song are the best Kansas harmonies I've heard from them. Usually it was only 2 singers, but this is clearly 4 for most of the harmonies on this song. Let the hating begin. And now the countdown begins for the July 5 show in Las Vegas. Can't wait.
You gotta respect the ages of the bands of old cause they are getting and better every single time
This is such a wild aesthetic. Can't wait for the new album to be released
This song is under rated and a masterpiece!
If you like how the newer member's talents interweave with the older members, great! Keep liking the band. If you don't? Stop. It's not that complicated! From a musical standpoint, some amazing things are happening here, and I've loved all of it. Thank you KANSAS! 🎶😎🎵

I have ordered the album. I can't wait to get it. Another new Kansas album always reminds me of unwrapping and playing Point of Know Return on my turntable in college.
I am extremely skeptical of bands when original members have left, especially singers. With that said, I think Kansas has done a wonderful job keeping the inception of sound alive. I also like that they keep writing and creating at such a high caliber. Looking forward to the new album and hope to see them on the road very soon.

I was listening to a bunch of bands with members who were born 25 years after Leftoverture and this fits in perfect. That is unreal. I hope this band does really well with this project.
🤘HeyNow ! ! ! ✊RightOn ! ! ! Greetings From : Wichita,Kansas,USA🇺🇸 ✌❤& Rock&Roll 😎
I love them. Still alive with all the power😎
On first listen, easily my favorite song on the new record.
I look back to the day I was working in the receiving department at the Osco warehouse in Chicago and in walks Ronnie Platt, truck driver and singer of the YES tribute band DRAMA and ARRA. I helped him with his floor load, putting it on pallets. It took about 4 hours.I got to talk with him about music and especially when I went to see his YES band play at a dive bar in Hammond,IN called Mickeys. They were great!! At the time they weren't together and I offered my services as the drummer if they ever got back together, since I know the whole YES catalogue. I guess he had a good excuse for not calling me.
Wow! I am breathless at this amazing piece of work! The song, the visual....if I was not already a fan, I would be immediately after experiencing this!!!
It is refreshing to see the KANSAS torch passed on and still flaming after all these years.
That piano intro, then the slow buildup of tension, great arrangement. Billy Greer on bass is superb. The violin, of course, adds the usual Kansas flair. Borderline metal sound on guitar, a great contrast to the violin riffs. Five stars, as always. Video is trippy, but, slight coolness too
This is great! Love the look back with the ship.
Cool video and the classic Kansas sound...what a nice surprise for today.
Beautiful song, the intro is so touching!
As a friend of some of the band members, I can honestly say they are very excited about this album, the direction, and how much heavier than usual. Zak has done a wonderful job mixing and engineering the last few releases. Great job Ronnie. See u again soon.

I'm still on the fence and I'm starting to suspect that they've got two mixes of these new tracks; they're releasing the louder "hot" mix as singles to gauge how the older Wheatheads react. It's either that or the mastering engineer said, "Let's piss off the Wheatheads and shit all over Zak's work. Fricassee that dynamic range, baby!" I'm holding out for an actual CD that isn't as loud and "hot" as these tracks are. The weird thing is I started listening to the WAV file Kansas included in their "Singles" ZIP on their website and had to turn my volume knob down. Then I remembered there's a video, came here, and had to turn my volume up. Despite having no preamp on my EQ and a 15% brick wall limiter on my Master volume.

There's No bigger Kansas fan than I am.. I wish I could hear more the whole band.. all the way up to Point of no return.. it was an even mixture of keyboards, guitar, and violin.. even drums and bass was a symphony by themselves.. this song was all violin with a small guitar lead near the end. I kept waiting, thinking a synthesizer or a Hammond lead was gonna break out at any moment.. no one can expect to be as creative as the original members, I guess.. but thanks for keeping the Kansas name going..
Supreme peace for my soul!
Classic Kansas!!! Back to the glorious roots!!!
