You dont need them when you use roads properly with bus lanes and public transportation

Building one big road funnels everyone onto it no matter where they want to go. You need to build bypasses for the vehicles that don’t need to drive through your cities. Traffic runs smoother when you give the vehicle AI more options and direct routes. Thank you for prerecording all these episodes for us!!

It's time for a significant and comprehensive investment in an Interstate system. Salem and High Point are damn near close to merging into the Salem-High Point Metropolitan area. I would future proof now by adding a train station in the middle. Also on that note: I significant investment in modernizing your public transport between Salem and High point, Trains, busses, trams. Maybe even an airport for High point OR an large(r) Airport that services both Salem and High point. But that area between Salem and High point is the perfect spot to future-proof for both cities. Edit/Addition: for me personally part of the joy I get from your transport fever 2 and cityskylines series is watching you build infrastructure. A whole ass video of you just upgrading adding infrastructure in this series would be a personal delight.

I believe you need some highways with on and off ramps going around the cities and not threw. You can start with the Salem metro area, but the McAllen metro area needs some love too.

Conflict, you should start doing boats, I think it would help your transport empire and it would be entertaining, loving the series!

Might want to expand the Airports across the cities. Also was going back and rewatching some of the vids might want to make some proper cargo hubs that can delivery to 2-3 cities via trucks with other raw materials and other components via planes. Might speed up movement plus reduce the number of vehicles on the road and improve citizen happyness. Would also suggest making bridges over all train tracks to reduce the stoppage of vehicles on main roads.

I'm thinking a high speed ring road in Kansas may take the grain traffic away from the center of the city.

Make a mega ring road around Salem + Neighbouring cities
