Properly felt that - power piece of work.

Can't help but think this is more groundbreaking than most might yet realise. Young people on the streets now seem to be going through a struggle so similar to people of Kano's generation, which might be the only time this has ever happened. I mean Grime isn't old and it's first generation of pioneers are now coming of age having been through the same struggle. They have the best chance of being listened to and are still respected with stories still relevant to young people to this day. But they can deliver it without patronising anyone, without huge generational differences in experience and without a complete lack of understanding. Its also a glimmer of hope outside of people debating issues they claim to know about on question time, or the news or as armchair experts. People like Kano and Akala are the best hope younger people on the streets fighting these wars have to demonstrate that they can get out of it and achieve. It's truly amazing and moving to witness someone like Kano shaping the future of a young black generation. What a hero.
