Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated at Smrti Academy, CBSE School, Bangalore. This video covers only the folk dances of Karnataka and these were only few of them. The famous folk dances of Karnataka such as Yakshagana, Kamsale, Hulikunita, Poojaa kunita, Nandhi kolu kunita were performed by the children on this day. The Kannada language team took active participation in training the children and hosting the programme. Grade-8 children showed the life of farmers through the Suggi dance.
