Most of the people have passed away with an unfulfilled ardent desire in their heart, to see their birth place and meet their childhood friends. Punjabi Lehar is attempting to fufil the desire of remaining partition era punjabis, who will be gone in the next five to seven years. there is large community in Pakistan from Kangra. our elders still talk in kangri. we still have rehro and mango mahni part of our food. my father family was from Mandi and my mother was from Bangla. now almost diluted in main stream punjab

@@jhoneterry8070 Madra, Sherra(very different from common halwa), Ambua , Lasude , Karaliyaan, babru ,chaccha and many more,Kangri/Himachali cuisine is different from Punjabi cuisine.I am from Naleti, Tehsil- Dehra gopipur, Kangra , many muslims used to live here but were the victims of deadly politics of partition, my family too saved some people,but dont know whether they were able to reach safely or not.I invite you to have a visit in kangra,Himachal.

It should be noted, baba ji and all muslims were helped by local rajput leaders not Sikhs as told by baba ji "no sikh was present in village". At that time only bad people took advantage of situation otherwise people helped their fellow village that I can assure for Himachal. My family too helped some people to hide them from Sikhs (who's family members were killed in Pakistan) who came in our village to kill muslims.But we can trace them to the date.
