Kangaroo Stew # 368 Shed Chat, Surprise Package and Ford 2000

Hello, I'm Lance (aka Bundy Bear), and doing these videos is my hobby. I do own Queensland Tractor Spares in Australia where I sell parts and offer technical advice to customers.
Parts seen in our videos can be purchased from www.queenslandtractorspares.co...
We have a lot more than we can offer on our web site available to us and in our store. If you don't see what you would like please email info@queenslandtractorspares.com.au or call 1300 850 097 and we will help where we can.
I do try and help with technical advice at bundybearsshed@gmail.com if you have a question or are having trouble with your project.

Nice stew President Lance. Even though you say you've been a bit slack, it's obvious that you have been doing a lot. The little ford is interesting, good to see that moving along. Keep up the good work.

Not there yet with the club thing but I think it would be the right thing to offer at least.

Great stew Lance. How good is the Gayndah school. Just the type of school I would like to go to. You would make an excellent President Lance. Plenty of energy, ideas and the ability to get people behind you. Look forward to it. Good luck.

Yeah it is a pretty crap site at present, Mingo Crossing is a way better option.

Hi Lance, with reference to the Ford worked on many thousand series over the years, your other viewer mentioned the O ring on the hydraulic pump this is correct, the the O ring on the suction pipe at the back of the pump was a regular failure point, we used to replace them with Viton O rings rather than nitrile as the viton used to stand the heat better…. Something that won’t affect you was these piston pumps were very temperamental when it was cold in the UK hence why we did a lot of gear pump conversions, good luck mate this is an interesting one for me as fords are my background, although never worked on a petrol. Chris

Thanks Chris, I was thinking the gear pump was just to be made cheaply by the aftermarket companies but that explains it all. Thanks.

As apprentices, when fitting conr5ods we would bolt up the end bearings with soft lead wire. Using a micrometer on the wire would give you clearance value. You can buy a product called Plastigauge now, does the same thing. The original fit was determined with engineers blue and a half round scraper.

I have plastigauge here and use it on other engines, this was just a fiddle as we were mixing parts but it is all good now.

Great Stew Lance! Great news regarding the badge for the MF20, will certainly finish the front off perfectly! Glad to hear that you are considering the role of Club President, a perfect fit for you and the club! Pleased to see that the 2000 is coming along, looking forward to seeing it running!

Another great video really liking the ford content, would be interested in a look around the the 4600 you mentioned as we have one but they don’t seem as common as the other models

@@BundyBearsShed yeah good tractor I’m looking to possibly get a second and try a turbo on it to see how it goes and if anything will break, be a cracker of a tractor if it can handle it a bit more power with the nice short wheelbase

A lot of news. Don't you think there's enough work to do 😂 and now also coordinating rally/president 😮. Looks great the new emblem 👍. Looking forward to seeing the mf20 up and running. The Ford 2000 in DK is a well known tractor. Just attended a party with farmers. They know the little Ford 😊🇩🇰

We have the 2000 here but the petrol version is not a common thing for us.
